Dealership sent me a coupon for a $ 59.99 synthetic Oil Change in August.
Dealership sent me a coupon for a $ 19.99 synthetic Oil Change earlier this month.
Dealership called and left me a message today offering a synthetic oil change for.......$ 39.99.

WTF?

Anything to get you in there so they can recommend other services. Anything. I'll do the $ 19.99 though, lol.

80 - Hit me up on text. Lived out there (Bay area, from Napa, to Pacific Grove/Monterey)
Know a guy that works as an outdoors/fishing etc. guide in Redding. Be glad to pass along his info and let him know you'll be out there. He was a roommate of mine at DLI. My ex-wife can probably get you some private/preferred winery tours etc. She still lives in Napa, and even though she's my mortal enemy, to everyone else she's generally very nice. My current wife and her are on speaking terms, so I can have her arrange it.

When I have a moment to myself to stop and think, sometimes I wonder if Southeast Texas State University made the College World Series in 1981.

They are done. Last night cooked their goose. I hate to say it but at this point I hope the Reds make the playoffs so that all of my internet net friends around these parts will be happy.

If it makes you non-Braves fans happier, the Braves starting pitching situation is a disaster going into the playoffs.

- Strider: Stud
- Fried: Blister on finger and can't pitch until the 2nd round (at least)
- Morton: Sprained finger and can't pitch until the NLCS (provided we even get there)
- Wright: Has a WHIP of around 2 since he returned from the DL
- Elder: Has been pretty awful since he made the All-Star game

Some of the dudes they're throwing out there to start games now were selling insurance earlier this year.

Not great!

LA is in the same boat, probably worse.

It does no good to complain about the Cubs here, but I’m going to anyway.

This rant isn’t to say Fire David Ross, but damn man! In the 10th with 1 out a man on 3rd base and Acuna coming to the plate we pitch to him.

Because of the man on 3rd base we play in, and Acuna gets a base hit to the exact spot the 2nd baseman is typically in range to make a play.

The play was to walk him, let the defense sit back, instead of play in, and go for the double play.

After the base hit Acuna steals 2nd without any attempt to hold him and next pitch Albeis knocks him in to win.

Just bad baseball calls by the head man, but we had a much better season than we should have so whatever.

So just to be clear, you are advocating that the Cubs - while up one with 1 out in the 10th and a runner on 3rd, walk the winning run who just happens to be the best base stealer in baseball?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Acuna steals second (like he did) and Albies (who was already 2-4 with a HR) gets a hit (like he did) the Braves still win.

Yes.

I’d take the chances on a double play, or the idea that the guy on 3rd somehow makes a mistake depending on how things play out when/if Acuna attempts.

It’s not idea but it’s better than letting ATL determine the outcome.

FYI, pitching to Acuna with a man on 3rd could have very likely ended up with a walkoff HR too and if you were watching like I was you’d know Acuna fouled two off that were 97ish and right over the middle of the plate.

- We don’t need a Cubs game breakdown/Monday morning quarterback session.

- FLA fans have gotten cocky again after their win over Tennessee. Our game has went from a likely win for them to a blowout win now.

- Temps finally breaking a bit here into the mid-80’s. Gotta turn on the pool heater. 😂😂

- Mexico in less than 2 wks. Wife and I’s first true vacation in 2+ years. Not gonna do a damn thing while I’m there. Staying at the Royalton Riviera in Cancun.

- Got the 4 year old doing simple math. She can count on her fingers with the best of them.

- 97 year old grandfather had a wreck the other day. Grandmother fractured her sternum. She’s laid up for a while. Think it may be the old man’s last drive.

- Watching Seinfeld again in order. Season 4 is peak comedy with the Contest, the Virgin, the Nip, the Airport Pick up. Wife has never seen any of them is cracking up.

- THC granola, enough said.

Your logic here makes no sense. He stole on the first pitch, so he wasn't getting doubled up. You don't walk the winning run unless it's around 2001-2004 and the hitter is Barry Bonds.
