-Brock Vandergriff is a man's name. No doubt about that. His dad breaking the news on HoB is fantastic... I hope. Go ahead and sign off for good Papa VDG.
-Lot of parent involvement the past 2 days. Both spectrums.
-Every Monday and Tuesday(well 75%) I go to bed early af and never drink. Every Wednesday I wake up wondering why I even drink because I feel good and refreshed. Every Wednesday night I'm hurrying my 8yo to bed, before have my weekly Wed Cocktail hour, because I love bourbon. What a cycle.
-So, I've made at least 2-3 IG purchases and not only am I never seeing those products... I'm fairly certain the companies likely own my house.
-If you don't believe government involvement in commerce is f*cking awful. Compare USPS shipping tracking vs Fedex/UPS. "Still waiting for a label" MF-er that **** was delivered las month.
-Everyone has a price. Apparently, John Rahm's is about 450 million. I mean, mine is SUBSTANTIALLY lower than that for something as small as switching from a company(he doesn't own) to a slightly more evil ****** company.
-UK not having kid sizes in the current men's player jerseys, but you can get HOOPStm all day, is right on f*cking brand for our awful marketing. Probably not many UK kids out there wanting a Reed #15 this Christmas.

Goddammit it was right there…
Decided we’d get my 13YO his gaming PC after doing lots of research and the “idea” he can use this into college too. This means the PS5 to our 12YO, PS4 to my 7YO and Xbox1/Wii/Switch/Retro Nintendo to the 4YO.
They’re all super excited for it and means all our Xmas is wrapped into this one gift. Obviously there will be several smaller presents too for the little guys.
- Headed to pick up my 2 cases of Placido Moscato wine. Store literally had to order it from a vendor as not 1 single store in the city has it. Wildest thing I’ve ever seen for a $10 bottle of wine.
- After jumping thru 8 months worth of hoops to get a distillery approved I planned the builds of my Stillhouse and barrel Warehouse would be awful processes.
LMAO. Got the response from both government bodies that all I need is building layouts(already in the file) and window/door rough openings and locations.
As much as it seems too easy for the amendment, day 1 of the process is already 1000x easier than actually registering for the business.
- UConn/UNC was honestly a snooze fest. Wasn’t a bad game but certainly wasn’t holding my interest as I expected.
- Vandergriff is the equivalent of Tim Couch to UK. I get that some people are legit concerned if he can “get” Coen’s offense, but please! It’s not that damn complicated and while it’s not tempo and seams and RPO where you read 1-2 players but come on the kid has flat out played football on a high level his whole life.
5* QB as a JR at UK with Brown/Key and a slew of TE’s.
I certainly can see making the trip to TX next season.
Unbelievable get and I can’t stress that enough, surreal even.
- I understand the idea of UNC and UVA if the SEC adds 2 more, but you got to be some kind of weird if you don’t want FSU over UVA.
- Anyone else see Levis take over the Titans last Sunday? Barking at Hopkins on a miscommunication and then later they connected a few times and were giddy withy each other.
Kid really has made some WOW plays and I watch with the excitement of a father for him as a fan of both teams.
- Seriously the Reds should have statistically been like the 12th pick and won the #2 pick via lottery. That is unreal considering how young they are and the picks they’ve had the last 2 seasons that will also be coming up too.
Rhett Lowder will be up next summer and Ty Floyd could make it up too.
Kinda tough seeing it play out so well for a typically terribly run franchise.

Between Coen and Stoops, UK is basically QB U. So I’m not concerned at all.

- UK likely has three first round guards on this team, along with a 24 year old who will average 17+ppg.
- I’m pretty hype about Vandagriff. If Lincoln Riley and Georgia offer and invest in you, I’m buying. Also like that he can move a bit. Need a RB but damn, O-Line news has been good. Receiver news so far so good.
- Not a day goes by that my wife doesn’t send me some “brilliant idea” from some hen on Instagram. “This would be fun!” NOOOO! I’m not wrapping our living room entryway with gift paper and then having our kids run through it to their Christmas presents like they’re the Dillon Panthers.
These mommy bloggers are a GD nuisance. They’re the reason dudes now have to go to wedding showers. People are getting killed because of gender reveals. Give these hens something meaningful to do for gawdsakes.
- If you’re not sipping a little brown water on a Wednesday night, you obviously aren’t living That Dad Life properly.
- Speaking of, every now and again, I’ll throw something high proof and premium like Elijah Craig BP or a Russelspick into an Old Fashioned. Nice little treat.
- Molly Malones Louisville- what a terrific Christmas-time establishment. Really Covington’s too.
- I distinctly remember watching “Christmas Vacation” in class. 80s/90s era Catholic grade schools were (pick one) different/wild.
- There were some great ones but the “Don’t Walk” collaboration was probably my favorite “This is Sportscenter” commercial.
- Spare me the self-righteous outrage, Sports Media. The committee had a tough choice, and whether you agree or not, had logic.
- Speaking of, I blame UNC for the increasingly litigious nature of collegiate sports. What a garbage institution they have down in Chapel Hill.
- I’ve mentioned it before but Counting Crows are awful in concert. Duritz changes the arrangement to every song so it’s a completely awkward and unfulfilling experience.
- My 3 year old - and I don’t know where she heard this word - routinely calls me out for having “attitude.” Now, while she may be right, that’s pretty rich coming from the girl who melted down over the color of her sippy cup this morning. Glass houses, chica.
- Been fooled approximately 238x already this college basketball season by scrolling women’s scores. Pisses me off every time. That’s where the attitude is coming from!
- Is SGA really the second best player in the NBA right now?

I’ve gone out on a limb multiple times and been ridiculed. Bowden at QB, THIS basketball team, Levis being comped to Josh Allen etc etc.
I have no idea how to compare their competition in HS but I’d say Vandagriff played much better competition in GA than Couch did in Leslie County so outright presenting stats would not do justice to Vandagriff. He also isn’t coming in with Hal Mumme and Mike Leach either.
No issue at all being out on this limb by myself.
Can not wait until next season.
