Getting a significant itch for football. If you're not there yet, I suggest hitting up one of Finebaum's podcasts. Plan on picking up Phil Steele's magazine on the way home from work and maybe a fantasy football one as well. Should be fully lathered up by next week.
Hope to hear from an insider if Bell and/or Miggins will make it to UK. While I wouldn't expect either to start, those big bodies could come in handy. It is comforting to be able to mentally list D-linemen that have some quality experience even after losing Z and Dupree. While there may not be an immediate standout, as a unit it may be as solid a 2 deep as we've maybe ever had.
AJ Stamps is a forgotten man. He's an absolute stud who could easily be in an NFL camp right now. While the corners are obviously the most shaky spot on our team I'm hoping our safety makes up for it. It's obvious that Stoops and Co will be trying to get some true freshmen going to replace Tiller and Quinn based on his comments, I'll be interested to see if it makes it to mid season before that happens or not.
The depth at running back in the SEC is crazy. Boom is a fantastic, game changing player; yet between Henry at Bama, Chubb at GA, and Fournette at LSU there are three potential first team All Americans. Add in the stable at Arkansas and UT's young stud and it's insane the talent at that position. It's a league won in the trenches and another reason why this upcoming Oline class should have everyone geeked up.
