Still watching ballers and while it hasn't gotten better... lots of really hot naked girls.

I'm still watching, too- hate-watching, really. I don't get it- am I suppose to actually be rooting for the POS receiver and dumbass defensive lineman? What an awful show.

Why do you have to root for somebody? Root against them for all I care.

Jesus just watching the freaking show and enjoy the tots.

This show is made for cheesedicks like you. Most people actually enjoy good writing, acting and an actual plot.

-Yeah, there's no characters you can really get behind. Besides Julie, that chick is SMOKE. They need a player that's busting his *** to make it or has some type of struggle other than I'm an ******* with too much money. The show has TON's of potential they're just missing badly right now.

 @ Bob. We can watch porn in seconds from anywhere in the world. Nice when a show has some actual entertainment.

-Diet and exercise still going strong. As I figured us being home more = us eating much healthier. Thanks for the Shakespearean concern, Brooksie.

-So out of the blue Bonzo wants to come to Lex to play golf with me... Hmmm... Is his girl knocked up? Is he getting married? Neither of us regularly golf right now.

I'm shocked TV shows do as well as they do. There's probably 2-3 shows I consider "must watch". The rest of the time my tv is on but my face is in my phone. Even with a lot of sports. I'll have it on, but "follow" the game via Twitter. Sad but true gang. I play on my phone way too much. Need to work on actually watching tv like a healthy person.

HBO failed me this summer, both True Detective and Ballers were shite.

Reality Steve was wrong, Kaitlyn picked Shawn. Also a very unmemorable season.

Hoping Bachelor in Paradise lives up to the hype.

Check out this excerpt from the new Saban bio. I'm definitely going to read this. [laughing]

"...guys out there chasing p****, having all of these kids. And then you come in here and try to play football. Ultimately it's a distraction. Ultimately, you don't want to be out there chasing after midnight. If you haven't locked it up by midnight, it's not worth it."

At this point Saban paused and shuffled on his feet. The color had risen in his face. His players had no idea what to expect next, "Ultimately, you never want to sleep with anybody who has less to lose than you do," he said, "So, ultimately, if I'm ever going to sleep around on Miss Terry, it's going to be with Hillary F'ing Rodham Clinton.""

- Heroes/protagonists in today's society are so different from what they were just 10 years ago. Jason Whitlock has written some decent articles that touch on this.

- I never knew Saban was so philosophical about anything other than football. Those were wise words!

^That *kid* looks 25 years old. Jesus.

Saban is one of the better speakers i've ever heard. He's actually incredibly funny- in a serious/unexpected kind of way. He does a nice bit on why we hate people, boiling it down to either- we choose not to like someone because they have created so much success for themselves, or we hate them bc they are too lazy to achieve enough success for themselves. He omitted that we can also hate people for poor message board takes, tho.

Tuesday Shorts:

- Congrats to Anth on this gross weather. Hope you're enjoying it, Big Boy. Lovely September will be here soon!

- So, Meyer would be shocked if Markelle Fultz doesn't come to UK. Fine with me. Crafty scorer and keeps getting better and better.

- NKy/Cincy people- best parking for Riverbend? I want as easy of an out as I can get this Saturday for Tim McGraw. Top 5 Tim McGraw Songs:

1. One of Those Nights
2. Don't Take The Girl
3. Just To See You Smile
4. Red Ragtop
5. Everywhere

- Speaking of which, hoping I don't get caught checking out the babes and also hope I don't get puked on in the lawn by any teenagers.

- This female coach thing in the pros is interesting. Obviously, these women who reach these levels of coaching know their stuff. I'm all about being progressive. With that said, coaching at that level is much more than just Xs&Os. It is about commanding respect from, if we're being honest, a group of macho, arrogant dudes who usually aren't all that bright. I'm dubious about whether it would work.

- I'm telling you golfheads- "Slaying The Tiger" is a great summer read. The best parts are that, a) it's recent, just the 2014 season, and b) Shane Ryan isn't just a reporter- he gives opinions and isn't afraid to bash the players, the courses or the PGA. Very interesting.

- Finally got around to watching HBO's Scientology doc. It was interesting and creepy. I just have a hard time mustering any feeling sorry for the idiots who bought in on something so ridiculous. Typical LA dipshits.

- Thinking about a Saturday night aerial shot of a CFB cathedral, crowd going nuts, me with a slight buzz and Musberger saying, "We're coming to you live..." :scream:

I love summer, but I don't know how anyone couldn't be ready or itching for fall at this point. It's not like it starts snowing when summer ends...Fall weather is unreal.

The best & most enjoyable summer days/nights feel like Spring/Fall anyways, so what's the obsession with a never-ending summer? Can you not bike, hoop, run, golf, boat, lay out, etc in 70-80s weather, or what?

Plus, real sports return.

Bring. It. On.

-No 'Moment too Soon'? False. Also, Highway Don't Care makes the list for me these days. First jam he's had in a decade, but I love that cheesy song for some reason.

I love fall but I hate short days and winter. If I'm going to have crappy weather I'd much rather it be OMG 90 and humid over 15 and ice. Sat outside with my Mom and Son yesterday from 4p-6p with a fan and it was great. Long days and sun over short days and cold. Easy call really. Fall just means that Winter is closing in and I have to wait 3-4 months for the sun to be up when I get home.

Daylight is the main issue.

Best part about the time change is Anth won't be able to post about his "nice little ride" every single day.

Also don't recall the last 15 degree Fall ice day either, but maybe I'm misremembering. Perhaps it's time to Learn Seasons.

Fall doesn't mean 'winter is closing in', it means it's time for perfect weather and college football season with basketball on deck, you little pansy. [eyeroll]

"Please remember me" and "For a little while" are solid. That duet with Nelly kind of missed the mark.

Late September till early November is my prime weather setup. I used to long for months on end of ridiculous heat until I moved further south.

Honestly, it amazes me that seemingly normal (i.e. not mentally incapacitated) people could fall for something so clearly ridiculous. Kudos to Ol' L'Ron though. The guy basically told people he was going to invent a religion to get rich and not pay taxes, made up the absolute dumbest premise he could imagine, and found enough gullible people to make millions of dollars. For a guy with a clear mental disorder, corn teeth, and unrivaled pedophilic machismo, he did really well for himself.

Fall -> Winter -> Spring -> Summer think I got it own.

That's how the seasons go. While I love fall weather I hate that it means winter is looming. It's kind of like the last 2 days of vacation. You're still on vacation and its great BUT you can go out and get hammered b/c you have to pack and travel home the next day.

Spring>>Summer>>Fall in terms of my favorite.

Refuse to acknowledge winter. It blows. If not for basketball I'd vote for deletion of December-Feb.

If you're thinking about "winter is looming" on a perfect October Day at Commonwealth (or wherever) then you're just a miserable *****.

I hate the DEAD of winter for a few weeks like anyone else, but don't mind it otherwise. To use your same thought process, winter just means UK is playing basketball twice per week, Bourbon Tastes Extry Great, and Spring/March Madness (my favorite time of the year) is just around the corner.

You should move imo.

Spring > Fall (it's close) > Summer >> Winter

You like fall. I like Spring summer. You like cutoff shirts and menthols. I like shirts with sleeves and my lungs. We're different. It's ok.

Yeah, I don't own a cutoff shirt. That was beyond mean imo.

You graphic tee wearing touch boi. I hope you get seasonal affective disorder now after that comment. :100points:

The present day>>>>>than wishing your life away wanting another season. Enjoy the ride fellas.

I thought BBdK quit smoking. How long did that last? Was thinking it was for awhile. Same with SAE. I know Tommy gave it up.

Bought Slaying The Tiger about 3 weeks ago but will save it for another month until im on the beach.

American Pharoah races Sunday evening in the Haskell. Post time for the race, to air on NBC, is 5:52 p.m :fistbump:

Tiger playing this week and then the PGA in a couple weeks and i guess his season is finished unless he miraculously wins one of them. At this point making the cut in both would be an achievement.

I love early summer. But by July/August, I'm over it. It's humid and gross and boring. I'm ready for some football and basketball.

Winter may suck, but it sucks at the best possible time with UK basketball in full stride.

Fall > Spring > Winter = Summer
