Buzz words get on my nerves.

HAVE YOU MEAL PREPPED THIS WEEK?!

Wtf is Meal Prep?

On Monday for dinner, I had leftover DiOrio's.

On Tuesday night, I fired up the grill for burgers and corn.

Last night, the lass cooked some cilantro lime tacos. They were great, btw.

Every morning for breakfast this week I've had a Fiber One bar.

No,I haven't MEAL PREPPED.

[laughing], dude got B Knight.

LULZ McKnight has to be the whitest brother in the League. For being a borderline All-Star, he gets clowned on a bunch. It is bizzare.

I need to see if I can dig up a '40 black dudes NSFW' tirade on him. I'm sure it's amazing.

Meal Prep is annoying b/c those people (Pinkard) who do it the most post about it on Social Media every week ----> but it is pretty damn effective for most people, and I wish I did it more often. Pretty much eliminates any 'impluse' bad eating, which is an obvious vice of mine.

Basically, it's just mass cooking chicken, fish, veggies, etc -- On a Sunday evening, for example, and packing your lunches/dinners for the next few days.

Much easier than making yourself do it every night/morning, which for most people will not end up happening when real life gets in the way.

-Knight gets clowned on b/c he's had 4-5 (aka, about HALF) of the worst 'Not Top 10' plays of the past two years all by himself. It's uncanny. Most people, including BA, understand he's a baller -- but damn, he's about as unlucky as it gets as far as embarrassing moments goes.

That dead lion has gotten more media attention and has generated more outrage from privileged white Americans than any humanitarian crisis in Africa this decade. Poaching that lion doesn't crack the top 100 of awful **** being done by humans in Africa. I bet the vast majority of Africans couldn't give two fks about that lion.

Yep- and the same females who are so up in arms would break down crying if they saw the lion attacking a baby gazelle.

It was a dick move by some rich douche for sure, but the self-righteous social media mobs are the worst.

I'd been doing really good about meal prepping for the week by cooking some chicken breasts in the crockpot Sunday night then making chicken salad Monday mornings, but i just couldn't do it this week. It's not even that I'm tired of the food, it's just that for whatever reason I sleep like absolute **** whenever something's cooking in a crock pot. Smell wakes me up seemingly once an hour and ruins my night.

Thursday Shorts:

- I have no problems at all with meal prepping.

- I love Anth's crib, like it's my favorite house out of all my friends because of all the nooks and crannies and character...BUT I sure do miss the purple lot tailgate. Understand that has a lot to do with the fact I didn't have to set up or clean up.

- So, UK is favored for Bridges and Fultz. That would be one helluva start to the class. Then, if Cal could get in on Fox (which I think he can) and target Ayton in the spring...:scream:

- LaRosa's with the family tonight. Can't wait. Do I go pizza or calzone????

- I guess it's cool, but I can't even muster a fistpump for a '17 or '18 FB commit. Odds they'll stay committed for the next two years: SLIM TO NONE.

- Always wanted to be Visor Guy, but it just was never my look- even before I buzzed it all off. Guys like cawood, Richie, SAE, Geese and even PTI can pull it off, but not Dad. Seems they make better, cleaner visors for UK than they do regular hats.

- Cal's retiring at UK. He loves the stage too much. He loves that BBN hangs on his every word and he can do all the off-the-court Cal stuff he so loves. He can't get that anywhere else besides being the football HC at Bama, and Saban has that gig on lock.

- Finished "Slaying The Tiger" and ready to start...

GYERO's favorite Andy Roberts returning to Eli this year....67-75, sitting at 10th currently at the KY Open. Robert Damron in the mix as well (-6), former PGA Tour winner (Byron Nelson)

http://kygolf.org/96th-kentucky-open/

Killa: Yeah it's the strongest championship field I've ever seen for the Eli. Couple guys that used to play mini tours will be in from Evansville, Howerton's old crew. Parker Scarborough is back. A top ten this year will mean you played all out.

Probably should start thinking about 1st flight, but too damn stubborn. :/ If it weren't for the shootout, probably would. Most fun part of the tournament, imo.

- Heard Jason Anderson & Mengus whatever backing up their Bonafon over Towles claim ystdy. Sure thing, ace.

Bonafon is mediocre at best. He was supported last year by a solid run game and very good D.

GUESS WE NEED TO FACTOR IN THE BOBBY FACTOR. BOBBY... GENUIS. BOBBY... BOBBY. BOBBY.

- The more I read and hear about Dawson.. The more I like. This offense is going to be lethal.

- I'm MEAL PREPPING tonight at August Moon with the lass.

Donuts are great, just never really have the urge. It's pretty amazing how ****** even one can make you feel, despite being mainly air.

-Will Louisville ever get a Donatos? This is ridiculous.

-Outrage is the new national pastime. And I'm not saying it isn't justified in a lot of cases. Get fired up about Cecil, or Sam Dubose, or Planned Parenthood. If it really bothers you, fine...but people just go from one thing to another and nothing really changes because they don't realize that status updates and/or hashtags don't change things....ACTION changes things.

-We don't meal prep on Sunday nights, but we do chart out the menu for the week, including breakfasts and lunches. With two young ones, it's just easier to say "Nope, here's what we're having today...it's on the menu" instead of being undecided at 6:00 on a weeknight and giving in to their request for fast food.

-Am I the only one watching "Big Brother"? Probably.

-Usually come up with a "dream class" for basketball recruiting, but there are so many good options in the 2016 bunch, it's impossible. Just get 4-5 of them, I don't even care which at this point. (as long as one of them is Bridges)

-Our two gubernatorial candidates sound like a couple of absolute clowns.

North Lime is Awesome. The actual North Lime location is a tad bit shady but thier Clays Mills locations is great. Their normal glazed doughnut is fine with me.

Re: UNC vs ??? Your single most memorable play by a Tar Heel
Yesterday at 2:21 PM

The David Noel dunk against UK at Rupp. That win against a top ten team w/ the group we had....wow.

[laughing]
David Noel in a December game at Rupp.

Of course, everyone else is MJ, Phil Ford, Perkins, Tyler, Donald Williams, NCAAT plays, etc.

Brandon Brown fired a smooth 64 yesterday. I remember playing against him in high school. He was a little dude like me, but infinitely better. I'm still jealous of his game.

Shootouts are indeed the best part of any invitational/member-guest.

"Here's your chance to win some really nice coin. You're first on the tee."

[sick]

*with organized/college sports firmly in my rearview mirror, it's probably the best "butterflies in the gut" feeling a guy can get.

Some of the scores are amazing on both ends. The missed cut guys are FILLED with turbo ballers and former winners in the mid-high 80s...

Also heard idiots talking about running Auburn out of the GA Dome because that is JUST WHAT BOBBY DOES with three months to prepare

The great thing about North Lime's glazed donuts is they're actually thick and filling. I go maybe 1 Saturday a month if one of the specials catches my attention, the Maple Bacon is one of the best things I've ever had.

Meal Prep....

I hard boil eggs once a week for my breakfast and we'll typically grill up a few extra chicken breast for lunch. Still most of our stuff is made at home, rarely eat out or have something delivered during the week. Like never.

-It's just way more convenient. I did have a ball last year when we rolled around rover style through the Blue Lot. Miss that stuff.

-Calazone or hoagy. Their pizza is ****.

-Having a guy like Mac Jones in that class is HUGE. It's like when we had Barker except we're WAY out from his signing date. Jones is 100% locked in unless Stoops isn't here and he's out there recruiting as hard as any coach right now. Also doing it in a state that is stocked full of talent. So that 17 class should be pretty solid.

Rowland and others saying that tomorrow could be a "HUGE day" for UK football recruiting. Gotta be the Willis kid from Lexington, right? I'm like Chad, early FB commitments are about as flimsy as they come in the recruiting world, but it's still great to have this kind of roll heading into the season.

The more we get though the better the odds of the class staying together...if you have only 1-2 studs, it's pretty much guaranteed they'll flip.

Hard to gauge how much the stadium and facility upgrades are helping with recruiting, but I'd imagine it's significant.

Also, the ability to practice regularly on our home field is going to pay serious dividends imo.

Also...

-I have the capacity to be pissed about the POS dentist killing a lion and still feel for the other issues plaguing Africa.

-[laughing] @ Rob as a "outdoorsman" couldn't be anymore "trying to be something your not." I'm sure he looks great in his 8 layers of Stika and his Benelli carefully slung over his shoulder.

-Giving up caffeine is for losers. That was s dumb decision.

-Next 5 days of weather looks awesome. Soak it in.

-Completely bummed I'm missing the EB. Damn.
