The Entourage movie, of course, was not good. What a waste of time. If not for Emily Ratajaonowkowski and the blonde E was waxing it would've been down right awful. Hell, they managed to make Slone unattractive. I didn't think that was possible.

Cameo, Cameo, Cameo, Ari yelling, Cameo, Cameo, Cameo, Ari yelling. Bleh.

-Work this morning. Predictably and understandably the team is moving in slo-mo. Leggo boys.

-I will say this... and I'm sure WCC will be ecstatic... the Burgan's Yeti carry cooler is pretty damn awesome. I'll probably have to get one of those.[cheers]:cool2:

-One thing I'm ready to be done with regarding summer -> bugs. Christ, they have been wailing on me. I think they've mounted a counter offensive b/c of the bug zapper. September honks should be happy. Mid 70's - low 80's are en route and appear to be here to stay. Sun already setting close to 8p. Not cool.

-Huge shout out to the crew around the tailgate for all the help. I think just about everyone pitched in to help out in someway.

Yep. I got crushed for calling him out. There are homers and there's that.

"He Fred, they were also 1 play from losing to a Sun Belt team at home."

If crazy *** JD Harmon doesn't strip that ball, who knows.

I hope Freddie realizes that we were also 1 play from a seven point loss. Good thing a DB forced a fumble.

Love Anth's "stop being whiny bitches" rants, lol. Did ANYONE ***** about the little **** more than him leading up to kickoff? (No) Guess the free draft beer, wifi, TVs in the box, & AYCE Choco Tacos changed his tune. Cute.

The stadium looks great. Who's been whiny other than Brooks' little schtick, which is mostly in fun. The question has been posed numerous times about "how the experience is affected", and I answered honestly.

I didn't "expect" anything, I'd take the old stadium and sitting in the endzone with 10+ buddies back in a heartbeat, but I completely get why it was done, and I'm happy with the results. Big step for our program, without question.

But, the experience hasn't changed for the average fan, which is what many have asked. I did maybe expect a different look in the concourse with more options, etc...but again, not a huge deal. I always thought our concourses were among the wider ones I've attended as they were, never once had an issue in that regard.

Once all the landscaping/exterior stuff is done, it's going to be pretty stunning imo. The field, of course, is unreal. Love the ribbon boards and the look across the way towards the club/press tower.

It's a place to be proud of, for certain. Seemed louder as well, although I'm sure a sellout helps in that regard.

That press box suite tower is massive. Mitch said they added panels to each end to keep the sound in.

Yeah, it's huge...How much of that is press?

Didn't see much reaction from the guys up there, or maybe I just missed it.

Was Kyle Tucker cool with the improvements or nah? Need a KGAR insider breakdown for GYERO, imo. Dude seemed pretty giddy, happy for him...has to be a cool experience being up there.

I got moved over to the other end zone this year. Great seats (I can basically see the field from the QB's perspective), but holy **** it's going to take me a while to get used to the sound system over there.

^ [laughing] yep.

I can basically reach out over the wall and and touch a band member, so that's kinda cool. I hate when I can't hear our weak little band, which hasn't been a problem for years being in the endzone next to them, but it's pretty hype after scores with them blasting 10 feet over.

I was genuinely concerned & by all accounts things were way behind schedule. Let it go, PTI.

My seats face the new Suites/Press tower. Man... Just feels that much bigger now and it does seem to contain sound better. When Boom took it to the house on that first play it sounded like a jet airplane taking off. Loud.

Love how the lights from the ribbon boards reflect off of it at night.

Walked around some in the second half. The glass entrance to suite & club levels is sharp.

When they get the landscaping done in the next few weeks around the stadium it will now be one of the nicest stadiums
in the SEC.

Talked to a few of our inner-circle wildcat friends today, and we're all still suffering a bit of mild PTSD from Sloot's post-game vicious attack.

Shew.

First time I've ever been legitimately nervous at Casa de Schem, actually had keys in hand ready to pull a Bonzo. :flushed:

KGar is still working on a mock up of the field in Excel.

One of the coolest sports experiences I've ever had. When you get off the elevator you walk to what is basically a cafeteria seating area where the food, drinks, popcorn, ice cream is (all complimentary, good lord i pigged out). Three huge flatscreen with games on while you eat. Its an interesting dynamic, a lot like high school with the "clicks", the KSR crew was definitely avoided by some of the media.

Press row itself has three rows of stadium type seating, my spot is down low between Drummond and Freddie Maggard, was pretty cool chatting with them during the game about the plays, etc. Freddie is actually about as nice of a dude as their is, honestly. He said the reason he went to KSR is simply because they asked him, nobody had ever asked him to write/contribute before.

Another cool aspect is you have a PA announcer within the room announcing yardage, tackles, obscure stats that you can throw in your writing such as when Boom went over 100 they announced its his 2nd consecutive game over 100 going to last year, MacGinnis first FG was 10 straight, new UK record, etc. After each quarter they drop off updated stats to everyone and ask us who we want to interview after the game, gonna make sure i do that for the Florida game.

Funny though, as the game starts they announce "this is a WORKING press box, absolutely no cheering allowed, you will be removed"

Halftime was just one giant networking event while Chicken Parmesan was consumed in Mass Quantity, pretty fun though, chatted with Tom Leach for a while during it, dude is large and in charge. Just odd seeing all these guys you've read and watched on TV basically all together in a room hanging out.

the ONLY bad part is that it is nearly soundproof, even during Boom's run it was more of a low roar in the press box.

One thing i will say about Matt Jones... I get why he and Kyle Tucker don't get along, there is A LOT of Patrick Bateman from American Psycho in that dude.

The stadium definitely keeps more sound in. The stadium itself was louder, but also when I got home. Had my six year old in tow, and we got home right before ULL went on their comeback. Anyway, when we scored late, I heard nothing...zilch, nada, nathan. I'm close enough to where in years past we could hear roars in the distance.

I was a little perplexed, honestly. How noise could be reflected inside stadium, but nothing gets out? Even the score that put us up 33-10, I noticed a difference in sound level and we were walking through arboretum at that moment.

#acousticengineering ftw, I guess.

You didn't hear anything because half the people left when we were up 33-10. And if we are being honest, our crowds aren't great anyway compared to similar sized stadiums.

Reminds me of Winston with his pocket poise/casualness. He's just in slow motion control.

I woulda bet on JT, but dude clearly has 'it'
