Navy Blue UK gear is highly underrated. Especially if it's from the 70s/early 80s.

Bonzo was treated to a show last night. Tennis at a VERY ELITE level. Some of those shots were insanely difficult. Wanted Federer to win, but hard to hate on Djokovic. Watch his impersonations of other tennis players on YouTube. Dude is hilarious.

* I have both the moonshine nose thumbing rug and the Kick *** Cats pin, along with a Kick *** Cats penis tongue tshirt. Na na na na nana, boo boo boo.

I now have enough old UK tshirts and sweatshirts that I never wear that I am going to get a quilt made out of them.

* Battling what I hope is just severe tendonitis in my right ankle. Couldn't put any weight on it at all for brief spells last night.

Didn't bother me at all during a long bike ride earlier in the day, tho.

* Really happy with both the Cats and Bengals this weekend. Took care of bidnit in hostile environments.

* My guess is Pac Man Jones will be suspended for at least a game for ripping Cooper's helmet off and then slamming his head against it. Dude is a psycho, but he has been playing the best ball of his career.

* If Andy Dalton wins 4 more road games this year, he will have the most road wins in the first five years of any QB ever. And his next playoff win will be his first.

* Why are backup QBs so touching awesome against us? Always?

* People in NKY/Cincy need to go test drive a Toyota this week and register to win a new Tundra. Instead of a Reds player having to hit the sign or the truck in the outfield, any home run in the seats from CF to RF wins a truck for whoever's name is drawn.

* We're gonna Dr. Boat chomp the Gators. Bleedat.

* Wildcat Ava was rooting for Hawaii over tOSU because of their rainbow uniforms. "I love Rainbows... and Wildcats."

The tooth fairy gave her an extra couple of bucks Saturday night.

- @ autoplay video ads on The Paddock.

-I'm not making any bones about it. UF is a mess right now with McElwain trying to establish himself as the boss and we just played some of the best ball in years. Not to mention the taste from last season. I've had this one marked since :05 after the game ended last season. This is the year the streak ends and I think it will be fairly convincing.

-Test run with little dude yesterday at Rupp for the Alumni deal. Cool enough and I'm fine with emulating UNC's family atmosphere. Obviously it has huge benefits long term. I think we see Cal settling into that role and his future here finally. No doubt he wants to take another stab the NBA but would he sacrifice what he has for 1 NBA and end up coaching SMU at 104 like Larry Brown? His words and more importantly actions indicate that ship may have sailed and he seems to be ok with it.

-Andrew still pulling the drive -> flail -> flop even in a charity game. Not going to work in the league, bub.

-Even high quality tennis I can't watch. Went back and forth last night. Meh.

-2 episodes left on Narco's. Just great TV. Completely different but just as good as Robot. The acting is phenomenal.

-Willy already posted and you're welcome to put the money on him -> Willy's page or you can drop it on mine -> Anth's page as always it's a great event where the funds go directly to the cause. Big day is Saturday.

Think the guy I'm most happiest for on the team Sat was Jojo Kemp. Last year after his WildKemp game he was buried on the depth chart by Brown & hardly touched the ball. In the offseason he was a popular rumor candidate for leaving (esp if we landed the Berea rb). But he stuck it out, and with Dawson is being used as an actual running back taking handoffs. Had a huge game for us and showed he still has it & is not a downgrade when he comes in for Boom.

Has a home run ever hit that truck, Willy? Marcus be parked in Wilder.

No and it was actually never supposed to be. Wilder would be quite a shot. I'm tired of the people who live there saying they are from Cincinnati. Do people from JTown say they are from Louisville?

There is a RED HITS SIGN FAN WINS TRUCK sign that is very hittable under the smokestacks in right center field that nobody has ever hit.

We still give the truck away every year. One year we drew a fan's name out of a hat and all the other years we donated it to various police depts, fire depts, Matthew Ministries, P&G Baseball Academy, etc.

This year, a fan is guaranteed to win it. There are 7 games left. If a Red doesn't hit a HR into the seats the next 6 games, the 6 people who would've won the truck in each of those games' names will be put in to a hat.

I still do not know what the hell is going on in our locker room at half time. No idea. But I will say that 2 point conversion return is a momentum killer. Totally changed everything. That never happens to us.

-That sign is barely hittable not very hittable. Has it been touched in BP? It's a BOMB for a lefty. Has to be 430+.

-IMO what's going on is immaturity. Not knowing how to close out games. Getting a good lead and turning on cruise. We've seen it how many times with the recent BBall teams? Now put that on a young staff and young team with no history of winning. Just silly mistakes. We come out and drive on the first series, much like the ULL game, and the game is out of hand. USC(ULL) shuts down. Game. Instead a terrible untimely penalty puts us 20 yards deep and not wanting to take a chance we have to limit the damage. Happens twice and BOOM momentum switches and we're holding on for dear life. Also 3 AWFUL AWFUL punts. Props to the D for taking constant short fields and getting out of there.

But you can't be mad about a road win in Columbia. They just beat UNC so they're not terrible and it's Spurrier who we're 3 and 150 against. We're young and dumb and will have plenty of excruciatingly dumb mistakes but man our upside looked really fun.

Monday Shorts:

- What a damn weekend. Perfect weather. Cats with a huge road dub. Bengals come out firing.

- Our skill position players are pretty impressive. Lots of talent. I don't trust Patty any further than I can throw him but I love our backs and wideouts. F you, South Carolina Fan. Eat ****. Stoops owns Spurrier.

- The Bengals have absolutely everything except a QB that you can trust week-in and week-out. Loaded roster.

- Didn't watch a minute of the alumni game.

- Tried watching that new Auburn documentary on SECN but couldn't stomach the over-sentimentality and syrupy ******** of it all. It just tried way too hard, and I'm supposed to feel sorry for a fanbase that just won a title by blatantly buying and paying for their star QB?

- :joy: @ loudmouth Bielema losing to a Toledo team that returned ZERO starters on the offensive line and was without its star RB.

- ND just cannot catch a break. They get maimed every year.

Bengals looked good yesterday. Dalton with the usual "hey, maybe this is the year he's put it together..." performance in an early season game. I'll give Bengals fans credit though, I don't know anyone who's overly optimistic about this season, which is odd when you look at their roster, playmakers on offense, depth on defense, etc. Minus one position, I think they have the best roster in their division and maybe even the AFC. Unfortunately that one position is QB and smart fan has seen enough prime time and playoff games to pump the brakes.

He was seen celebrating a bunch after the game and apparently told a few people he was fine. Hopefully that's the case.

God, glad I missed that ****. They just need to do their thing in the League a couple years and then come back to Lex. Too soon, too pissed off.

- Was best man this weekend in a wedding in Brentwood at Governor's Club.
That place -- shew. Another world. Williamson Co in general is stupid but this place was unreal. Winged the toast (not speech) and nailed it. Sadie was flower girl and she was amazing. At 16 months we were both nervous how'd she perform in that kind of scene but she made it down the aisle with ease. Got a huge ovation, too. First real experience of that OMGZ THATS MY KID PLEASE GOD LET HER NOT **** THE BED EVERYONE IS WATCHING but man, seeing her take it in stride was my fav moment of the weekend. Sports (or any performing activity) are going to kill me when she gets older. Puppies to all you other dads out there that deal w/ this ish every week.

- Caught snippets of the game during the reception. Saw Khalid around the ball a ton. That kid has improved from huge liability to solid, serviceable linebacker in a short time. Huge, IMO. Especially at critical juncture for us with our depth problems at linebacker. Harmon is another maligned kid who has stepped up. Nice to see.

- APB for Ryan Timmons? Oh wait, he can't run routes and his hands are donkey. If it isn't a jet sweep or some end-around ish he's not getting any play. Getting lost in the mix w/ emergence of Juice and Badet but they're gonna need him to step up at some point during the season and make some plays. Next man up ATKOT. The receivers and running backs are as dynamic as we've had together in a long time. Need Dawson to find a rhythm ASAP because these guys can really make plays.

If this plays out like "Jared's Monkey" scenario, you are dead to me.

They need to consider doing some weird Tavon Austin-type stuff with Timmons. Maybe they're saving it.
I don't know. I think as the season goes on you'll see "less is more" in terms of the WR rotation. Hard to take away snaps from the guys that are playing well right now. Another guy I'm surprised hasn't cracked in yet is Snodgrass.

Is there a better feeling than seeing your team go into the victory formation on the road?

Pure joy.

It was so unnatural I almost didn't understand. After the first knee, I was like OMG WTF ARE TH...oh, okay, oops, damn we actually just won this f*cking game.

It's nice to be able to legitimately discuss winning actual SEC games in football again. Nothing worse than a week of being certain we are going to get killed and have absolutely no chance to compete. Georgia is probably the only game that might apply to this season. Weird how the possibility of being competitive as opposed to playing out a string really enhances my enjoyment of the season. Who knew.

I think UGA beats us, but watching them play as long as Brian Schottenheimer is calling plays we have a chance. Not much of a chance if Chubb stays healthy, but a chance nonetheless. He's going to be their new Todd Grantham, just on the other side of the ball.

Baker is a freak. Kid also has a mean streak to him getting up after a catch and giving whatever db he dragged a few extra yards post catch the business.

Love seeing our players play with an attitude. Brooks' teams had that. We are getting back to that.

UL losing to Houston in front of a 60% SELL OUT is just the best. Even before we went and beat a team on the road that had just beat an ACC team. They've done nothing but chirp about Bobby and how they're superior in football for a year as they can't **** about basketball.

Good Monday for sure. Tuned in to Eaves on 790(that dude needs a red bull) and he was only talking UK, never mentioned UL on the entire 15 minute commute.

Here's the thing about Petrino- guy can coach, especially offense. But, he's a documented prick. No combine that with off field issues, questions about loyalty/honesty, etc. and he's not tearing it up recruiting wise like you'd expect with a good program's move to a P5 conference, and I don't know that he'll ever win many showdowns on mom's couch. And he's stuck with Todd Grantham for a few more years at least. So minus a Brian Brohm/Michael Bush year in recruiting, I think they've got a real thin foundation over there on Floyd Street.

So much going on. Everyone getting wild. Badet is standing up on a training table or something doing some crazy dance moves.
