it's not the $$$, because lord knows everyone in mlb has plenty of that. it's his age. he's 32. sure fire ace, but like most mega contracts, because of his age, this is almost guaranteed to blow up.

At noon today on ESPN2 you can get a look at the first team on our 2016 schedule as Southern Miss travels to Bowling Green to play Western for the C-USA title. It will be a good way to start building pessimism for next season.

So you're saying I can spend a month every year trying to force creativity to produce original content to please a three year old until he's nine, while simultaneously preparing my child for the coming police state, so that my hen can show pictures of my creativity to the other hens and my child can wake me up even earlier than usual, and get pissed if I accidentally had the same idea twice? Screw it, I'm in. Owen's only two and won't quite get it yet, but I'm ready to start now.

Watching the first few minutes of the game and marveling at how much WKU looks than UK or UofL.

<----------- worshipped our Nutcracker figurine as a kid though. Was fascinated by that thing, and it even actually cracked noots.

Aware, but they weren't when it happened.

2014: 3-9 (1-7)
2013: 1-11 (1-7)

...I mean, they'd won 2 C-USA games in 2 years before they turned into a legit team once we added them. :cry:

It is rather depressing watching the conference USA game, knowing they would roll us. Been sick all week, I'm sure standing out in the elements the last two weekends contributed...I curse our terrible team every time I blow my nose.

The good thing is, from all reports, is that Jeff Brohm would take the UK job if offered. So we've got that going for us.

Brohm will eventually coach Louisville. Louisville is a much better job than Kentucky now anyway. Being in the SEC is great if you're Bama or Florida trying to jump a Baylor to get into the playoffs. Being in the SEC sucks if you're a Kentucky or Vandy trying to get to the level of competing for a spot in the playoffs. Louisville is much better off in the ACC than we are in the SEC.

Can't deny any of that. But he could be our Schnellenberger. And it is looking like we will have first crack at trying to get him.

I get being a realist, but CoolCat with UK football is just beating that dead horse into dog food.

The book is shut on 15', it was an all systems failure. But Stoops isn't going anywhere...hell, we will probably have no one of real significance go anywhere. All we can hope for is that this entire staff takes a long look in the mirror and figures some things out. Stoops just needs to look at this 14' recruiting class and tell them flat out that his job is basically in their hands. They continue to be a bunch of underachieving dbags that are more hype than substance...he will be out in two years.

They'll have to win back fans next year by being better than we thought with a tougher schedule, if not, Stoops is a lame duck. Pretty simple.

Love watching Wiltjer play. Glad we had him but I'd like to see him in the Zag uniform for another year or two.
