- Kudos to SAE's take on this hideous looking trend of dudes rocking clown like socks.

Plus,if your pants are cut at a nice length nobody should see what color socks you're rocking unless you're sitting down with legs crossed & even at that it should be at a minimum.

- Getting more and more into the Christmas spirit. Rat Pack Christmas and Bing Crosby tunes on repeat. House is decorated. Tree looks great.

- Not to get all religious on here but this time of year I tend to pray some here and there for people of real need. Go downtown to deliver coffee to the lass at Kosair and see these families getting off the elevator with this look of total devastation on their faces. See kids in the hallway that have been there for a while. Can't describe it. Shakes me to the core.

- Thank goodness we have a game tonight. The weeklong break even seems longer after a bad taste in your mouth loss.

klay thompson was 10 3s last night. 8 in the first half. lol

so, when does brad stevens decide to give up on the nba? i still think that's weird. he's evidently doing a fantastic job, is heralded as a genius, and is currently holding down an 8 seed in a weak eastern conference. there's only so much he can do with limited talent. he would absolutely MURK at iu.

Stevens is doing well in Boston, why would he ever leave? 1 of the 2 the best jobs in the world. The IU pipe dream he's coming back is just that.

Winning idea, which we are doing with wife's family:

Adults exchange zero gifts and we take a vacation together in the spring/summer.

Wife and I are heading to New Zealand this year for Christmas. Actually got no push back from the families, which was a pleasant surprise. Going places > getting more stuff.

because he's kicking ***, doing an awesome job, receiving widespread acclaim....

....and playing .500 ball in a ****** conference.

not his fault at all, but he's held back by the lack of talent. how fun can it be to overachieve your way into a 46 win season and 1st round playoff exit??

now, if they somehow land a big free agent or franchise changing draft pick, that's a different story.

Boston has set themselves up well money and draft pick-wise. They're due to make a big move in the next couple of years.

And Stevens is already one of the top-10 coaches in the league. Not sure why he'd leave for college. I think people just assume he'll fail and leave the NBA because, well, that's what college coaches who make that leap usually do. But he's an exception.

From all accounts Boston is in love with him and they cleaned up in the Nets deal. They're knowingly in rebuild mode.

Boston gets like 15 1st Rd pics over the next few years...with a chance to 'steal' a few very high ones.

-Gregg Marshall needs to be IU's #1 choice...he's actually in danger of missing the dance this year if they don't get healthy + their **** together. 2-4 currently with Another tough game tonight vs. UNLV. Pretty much running out of chances for good wins as well.

2. Archie Miller
3. Scott Rigot

Pretty much, although some would argue Rigot should be higher. Not saying I'm one of them.

Marshall would be very easy to hate. I know that. He's cocky enough to get them back to the top, too.

My ncaa tournament avoids this year in order. They change every year it seems based on what's best for us overall as a program. And of course UK can take care of a few of these by getting #9.

Hard to believe Duke has put themselves in position to go ahead of IU and UNC in titles this year or next.

1)UNC getting it's 6th
2)Duke getting it's 6th
3)Kansas getting it's 4th
4) I'd like IU and UL to not make the sweet 16. Surely, one of them makes it and if they do, NO elite 8.

And Crean didn't get that contract until after reaching the Sweet 16 in 2012 before falling to the eventual national champions and having the number one ranked team in the country the following year. It was signed on November 28, 2012. At that point he had at least produced some good results over a large sample size.

Marshall would be smart to leave this year with his Core players that have been there for a decade finally leaving...

Timing is right. He's done all he can do there.

If we don't win, let Maryland win it. The ACC hates them and that's enough for me.

and now coolcat is defending tom creans buyout. i mean, they did reach the sweet 16, after all.

goodness.

Yeah, that's not what I'm doing. Of course you know that though, you're not a moron in real life, you just play one on the internet.

I was showing that Crean's contract, which has been a complete f'n punchline here for years is actually more defensible than Mark Stoops, which has been defended as being a necessary evil of the current culture of collegiate athletics. Funny how that works.

Melo Trimble is awesome. What a college PG, he has every single ingredient you could ever want.

They were the consensus "lol Maryland lol so overrated" pick around here, but they have as good a shot as anyone.

Agree, like to see the B1G finally break their drought. Feel bad for Wisky last year, they were sooooo close.

but they used a 1st rounder this year on 2nd round talent Terry Rozier. and that is only because Ainge couldnt convince Jordan to take SIX draft picks so he could move up to take Frank Touching Kaminsky.

Stevens boss is a moron GM who will fail to build a good roster - unless Kevin McHale gets control of another franchise & gives the celtics another gift.

They're eventually going to break that drought. Would be much less satisfying if they achieved it through a former ACC school.

[roll]Attaboy, Llama!

* I'd like to see Skal show a pulse tonight.

* I'd like to see an EKU PF walk over to the eRUPPtion Zone and pop Barker in the jaw to see if our WRs have his back yet, or if we are the same old same old.

* I'd like to see Ulis, Murray and Willis hit their open Js.

* If my Colonels get a lot of open looks they could keep it close. We don't need that right now.

A complete game with the good guys in blue winning by 30+ is important for Richie's confidence.

* Yukon Cornelius is pretty much the *** kickingest dude of all time.

Our team needs a new video camera to record games. Need to keep it practical and cheap. I have absolutely no idea where to begin. GYERO, please advise.
