The roads were actually pretty slick this weekend. Crazy balmy. Almost felt like ice in the morning and late into the night. During the afternoon hours, it was fine. But concrete/asphalt was definitely sweating.

I had a motorbike accident when I was 10 and haven't been on a motorized 2 wheeler since. Scared me to death.

LSU will make the tourney. Their 2 wins over us (in which they will play like the best team in the nation) will propel their resume. Hide and watch.

-What is the O/U on that Chromebook being riddled with viruses and malware from the porn sites? I'll be surprised if it makes it to March 2016.

-.

Apparently you can't get viruses, b/c you can't install programs. Or at least, it's next to impossible, per everything I've read. Trust me, I researched this very topic very extensively before purchase.

LSU is not beating us two times. The only chance they have of beating us is down there in front of their only sellout of the season on a night when they honor Shaq for something and hand out free t-shirts. They'll lose in Rupp and they will get upset before they ever play us in the SEC Tournament.

Mike Decourcy arguing vehemently with me (and everyone else) on Twitter about how awesome Johnny Jones is.

I like him, and appreciate him always being down for a conversation, but he has THE WORST arguments, and pretty regularly. Awful.

Saw there were a couple serious motorcycle accidents in Louisville this weekend. Completely agree, there's just no margin for error on those things. Gotta be insane or dumb to ride.

Decourcy has a simple formula.

1. Go against popular opinion.

2. Argue until everyone else just quits.

3. Declare himself correct because everyone else has given up and moved on.

You could take the most mundane, widely accepted premise in sports and I bet Decourcy could find a way to argue against it. Something like the Golden State Warriors being the best NBA team this season and he'll find a way to make a case for San Antonio.

He just posted Jones' Wikipedia for proof of his 16 year coaching excellence.

.572 career %, Zero NCAA wins.

Incredible, indeed.

Hermm/Joey can correct me here, but since it is entirely web-based, there's nothing for a virus to infect. Could get a weird Chrome extension, but those are pretty easy to uninstall.

Also, veteran move on the p-sites. Go incognito mode. Keeps those cookies off the internet search history.

That said,my chromebooks do slow down after about a year. But probably planned obsolescence as Google is updating Chrome constantly.

What is wrong with the people on Twitter sharing a tweet and replying to it instead of just replying to it? Rowland does it a lot, it makes it impossible to follow a conversation.

Yeah, as of now Chrome isn't really in danger of virus or malware. The only concern is downloading a harmful app and a few extensions.

Bama had a nice little win yesterday on the road against Clemson.

The announcers interviewed Avery Johnson after the game. Great interview. Tons of personality. Really like that hire. Think they're 6-2 so far with some solid wins.

Has anyone here upgraded to Windows 10? Thoughts? I have a free upgrade on my laptop, but I haven't pulled the trigger. Thinking about doing it over the holidays when I'll have time to learn it without having to rely on it to do actual work.

Depending on if your laptop is more than a couple of years old, there have been some big issues with W10 not being compatible with certain wireless modems. Could cause a headache if you update before checking.

Poor Ben Simmons. He probably doesn't even know any better is the sad thing about it.

Meh, more like poor CBB fans who won't get to see such a great player on the best stage in sports. You think Ben Simmons ultimately G'sAF about not making the Tourney? Hell. He knows as long as he keeps putting up crazy numbers he's got absolutely nothing to worry about. He's a lock for # 1 overall and despite how his team fares I'm sure he knows it can be pinned on dumbass Johnny Jones for not maxing out, because Simmons did everything asked of him (going by the numbers and usage rates).

Yes, I would assume any competitor cares about playing in the NCAA Tournament.

Listened to a Planet Money podcast recently that had a lady in Louisville who ate 100+ burger and fry meals in a year at different L'ville spots and then ranked them based on taste/cost/etc.... Dizzy Whiz won out.

Simmons would have had a better chance to play in the tournament by going to some weirdo mid major or a goddam ivy league team that would win their conference. Or if he went to a school that is good at playing basketball.

Amazingly, it seems recruiting isn't finished yet. Depending upon who leaves, looks like Cal wants to add another stud in the spring- Simmons, Bolden, maybe Alkins.

Nick Young just had his first assist to Kobe EVER after 7 hours and 31 minutes of playing together on the court. [laughing]

I hate that guy. Swaggy P. [eyeroll]

Upgraded to it last week on the work computer. It took a couple of hours so I would do it when you aren't going to be needing it. Can't tell a huge difference, but I pretty much just run one program on it.

Not taking up for Swaggy P™, and I really wouldn't know, but that stat could be skewed by the fact that Kobe shoots at about a 14% clip these days.
