So the Reds' season highlight next year is going to be the induction of a Seattle Mariner into the HOF, pretty much

I buy into the office pool for Powerball and frame it as insurance against being the lone dumbass who didn't chip in.

Then I think, "I don't want to split 400 million with those ********," and get the fever to buy my own and continue looking out for number one.

- I think of Ft. Wright as the most trustworthy, btw.

"Each lottery terminal has its own random number generator and there are a lot of factors," he said. "If there was even a millisecond difference in the time between key strokes at the terminal, it would have changed the numbers."

That actually just eliminated one of my great fears. Thanks buddy!

No doubt. By 11:30 Saturday night, after UK loses on the road to Bama at 6:00 followed by the Steelers beating the Bengals at 8:30, I may kill someone.

Also, would everyone please stop pointing any blame at our guards. This team has one glaring problem, and its Skal. Its actually impressive what Murray and Ulis are able to accomplish considering we play outside out because our top 2 player in the class, top 5 draft pick Haitian piece of **** sucks so bad that teams clog the lane and make them shoot jumpers.

This team needs a rim protector, a rebounder and a scorer in the post. Skal offers none of that. He's a loser and I hope he stays in the top 5 or 10 so is loser earthquake surviving *** can get the hell out of Lexington. Last night he summed up exactly who he is when the 7 foot "athletic freak" missed a wide open finger roll, had Murray rebound his air balled finger roll only to have it pinned to the backboard, followed by a half court alley-oop to Simmons.

Skal is trash. So people like TSK coming on here saying he's not a bust yet, and that his 9 point, 3 rebound outing in which he fouled out in 14 minutes was a "step in the right direction," please STFU. The kid is a bust, he will never contribute here and its why we suck. Plain and simple.
I've been in court all day so a late [laughing] to assistbyredass. And to think people were all over me about being too hard on the big fella.

Ken Griffey Jr. is Cooperstown-bound, earning more than 99 percent of the vote in his first year on the Hall of Fame ballot. It is the highest vote total in history. He was named on all but three ballots.

Three people are sanctimonious douchebags who are incredibly ****** at life.

If my numbers get called, I will bring back the Gyerolympics...and it will be a grand production.

Will also bump the horse game purse up to $1 million. Catch is when Adrian loses, and he will lose again, he has to literally eat ****.

Anth, what's your opinion on Nest thermostats? Anything else out there better, or is that the one?

They seem pretty cool, and may help save a little money in the long run (apparently). Going to pick up a couple unless there's something better out there.

Not Anth, but I replaced both of my thermostats with Nest. The bill has gone down overall. I've recovered my costs at this point after 2 years. Putting that aside, what I noticed is that my house temp stays at a more constant state instead of fluctuating as much as it did with the original thermostats. In addition, the "away" feature is nice, where if it doesn't detect movement in the house over a certain amount of time, it will let the temp drop lower. The learn mode is nice in that it figures out when you get up and when you get home from work and it will auto adjust so that it warms or cools the house appropriately just before you arrive. And if you're a lazy *** like me, it's nice to adjust it via phone instead of having to go upstairs or downstairs to adjust it manually.

Big *** Fans is getting into HVAC with smart home integration. May be something you want to look in to, if you feel like spending the money on it.

Toppers. They have a bunch of weird combos that sound great when you're hungry and then comes the regret.

Ken Griffey absolutely should've been unanimous for HOF induction. As should all of the following (just a sampling):

Henry Aaron (97.8%)
Babe Ruth, (95.1%)
Willie Mays (94.7%)
Ted Williams (93.4%)
Stan Musial (93.2%)
Mickey Mantle (88.2%)
Bob Gibson (84%)
Jackie Robinson (77.5%)

Seriously, it's embarrassing when you break it down. 11 people didn't vote for Babe Ruth into the HOF. 9 people ignored Henry Aaron. 36 people didn't vote for Robinson.

Liked this quote from Roberts' article on UK leading for Bolden:

“Somebody’s going to have to sit on the bench,” Jerry Meyer said. “Calipari has sort of got it to a point where he’s challenging guys — almost challenging their manhood if they want to fight for minutes. The opportunity for early playing time is there, obviously, because of the high rate of turnover. But you’re going there moreso to develop. It’s not about showcasing your talent. If a player wants to showcase their talent, they make a decision like Malik Newman made and go to Mississippi State.

“You don’t really go to Kentucky to showcase your talent. Your numbers are going to be lower. Your playing time might be lower. You go there for the regimen and the competition in practice and the daily grind. And to endure the pressure.”

Obviously, we're loaded next year inside already, but I suppose you could say we lack a back-to-the-basket post and that's what Bolden does better than anyone. Reminds me of 'Dolph Morris a bit.

#PoorTax

-pretty pumped to have an uneventful empty weekend. starting at Halloween my family has had to run around to some scheduled event (or 3 or 4) every touching weekend through NYE. 4 intriguing games from #ThisLeague, see how Cal's boys bounce back from that horrific performance.

Hardly anything in the world is unanimous. People vote the other way just to be contrarian (see: GYERO). It doesnt really mean anything.

Reading Sinatra: The Chairman and just got to the story about DiMaggio and Sinatra, drunker than a dozen Indians, breaking down a door late night attempting to find Marilyn Monroe with another man. Wasn't her, of course.

Sounded fun.
