I buy into the office pool for Powerball and frame it as insurance against being the lone dumbass who didn't chip in.

Then I think, "I don't want to split 400 million with those ********," and get the fever to buy my own and continue looking out for number one.

- I think of Ft. Wright as the most trustworthy, btw.

Will also bump the horse game purse up to $1 million. Catch is when Adrian loses, and he will lose again, he has to literally eat ****.

Anth, what's your opinion on Nest thermostats? Anything else out there better, or is that the one?

They seem pretty cool, and may help save a little money in the long run (apparently). Going to pick up a couple unless there's something better out there.

Not Anth, but I replaced both of my thermostats with Nest. The bill has gone down overall. I've recovered my costs at this point after 2 years. Putting that aside, what I noticed is that my house temp stays at a more constant state instead of fluctuating as much as it did with the original thermostats. In addition, the "away" feature is nice, where if it doesn't detect movement in the house over a certain amount of time, it will let the temp drop lower. The learn mode is nice in that it figures out when you get up and when you get home from work and it will auto adjust so that it warms or cools the house appropriately just before you arrive. And if you're a lazy *** like me, it's nice to adjust it via phone instead of having to go upstairs or downstairs to adjust it manually.

Big *** Fans is getting into HVAC with smart home integration. May be something you want to look in to, if you feel like spending the money on it.

Mickey Mantle (88.2%)
Bob Gibson (84%)
Jackie Robinson (77.5%)

Seriously, it's embarrassing when you break it down. 11 people didn't vote for Babe Ruth into the HOF. 9 people ignored Henry Aaron. 36 people didn't vote for Robinson.
