I worship college basketball, and will watch & enjoy it immensely *every* single day until April 5th.

Shoot walk in there and theres cases of Bush Light just sitting there. Have a feeling there's a lot of winking and nodding going on with that rule. The reconstructed old basketball floor is a nice touch tho
There was an attempt to really blow it out. My buddy drew up a set of construction documents for an outdoor grill patio and patio set up and they were chugging along, but they came in and nixed it.

You just say stupid **** sometimes. Ulis/Booker would've been fun to watch. We saw glimpses last season. Favorite backcourt ever? I guess. Should've stopped where Geese left it...shew wee. But no, it had to be your "favorite!!!!!"

Wouldn't have matched John Wall/Jodie Meeks, which would've been 2 1st Team All-Americans playing together. Probably the best team we would've ever had. Might be the greatest team ever assembled without a weakness. Hard to get more "favorite" than that. But hey, keep up the "cute" college basketball takes. Guess Wall/Meeks isn't trendy enough or in the "now".

It is and would have been my favorite, as we talked about all year last year in anticipation.

Here's a fun game: See if you can go one day without talking about John Wall. Then, log out.

Meanwhile, special thanks for informing me what my "favorite" is or would be. That's dope

The Knight and Lamb combo while hitting their stride down the stretch produced some beautiful basketball.

Said it a few weeks ago but for being such a lazy idiot Lamb was a fantastic college player. High IQ, played his best ball when the stakes were the highest, nothing phased him.

You've become a **** poster since you got henpeck.

I know right.

Lamb was also a plus-defender and surprisingly good slasher/finisher in the lane. And didn't need the ball in his hands to be effective, which is getting rarer by the year in basketball.

But the hell with him because bad tweeter.

Now I'm really sad. For all these years I thought Epps was my favorite UK point guard, and today I learn it was actually John Wall.

I'm so confused right now. Please help.

Lamb had a lot of Briscoe's finishing every layup no matter the angle game (not talking about finishing through contact). Must be a CITY GUARD thing

John Wall went #1 in the draft, stop being cute.

I hate Wayne Turner, he didn't even get drafted. Draft > Titles, JMO

So the 96 backcourt trio of Epps (admittedly your favorite PG ever)/Delk (one of UKs greatest players ever and extremely likeable)/Anderson (freak athlete longtime NBA player) that led us to our first title in almost 20 years, doesn't compare to your love for the "almost" Booker/Ulis combo???

Like I said, you say some stupid **** sometimes.

I pretty much worshipped John Wall, but I find myself liking him less each day, for reasons PTI(pti) mentioned above.

[sick]

..I was under the impression we were talking potential backcourts. '96 seems like a different era, nobody compares to them or ever will, in my opinion. Neither would have your Wall/Meeks team, fwiw.

So no, I wouldn't trade Ulis/Booker for Epps/Delk/Anderson -- naturally, you're the ONLY person who would suggest such a thing.

The starting lineup intro for UK in New Orleans at the Final Four..

Lamb has this relaxed smirk when he gets introduced and cooly says something to Darius Miller. Always imagined it to be something like.. "Touch these weak *** ninjas. Don't geek."
Assume whatever he said had nothing to do with that game or with basketball in general. Probably something like "Wish i had a smoothie"

I loved John Wall, but he had some struggles during conference play (see shoot, couldn't) that we tend to forget.
True. People love to remember the highlights and that team was full of them, and personality. But, there were also a lot of grind it out games that season for many of the reasons I mentioned in my prior rant...and because of the makeup of that team (see shoot, couldn't). That's why they weren't as good as 12' and Matt Jones is wrong every time he lists Cal's best teams on his show (which happens several times a year) and puts 10' at the top.

I would also add that Cal is more than happy to go into prevent offense in the last ten minutes of a game if we are up 12+. One of my biggest Cal gripes ==> go coach the Nets, jackass!
