FTR, my original comment was linen isn't worth the hassle because it is hard to maintain that 'softness' after you wear it out a few times and wash it. Feels great to the touch on the Tommy Bahama clothing rack next to the 5" inseam trunks, though. Basically, it really is never the same after that initial night out and about with the folks to Louisiana Lagniappe and pretty coordinated sunset photos w/ all!

Black garbage bag - ZING! [laughing]

Beans, beans, they're good for your heart
The more you eat, the more you fart
The more you fart, the better you feel
So let's eat beans with every meal!!

I love beans. Lima, brown, green, white, etc.
No wonder you always crap the thread.

I guess I'm late to this, but if you grew up in the 80s watching action/buddy cop/kung fu etc...movies, Kung Fury is basically the greatest 30 minutes in the history of filmmaking.

I just got a call from my CNC guy for my "KY by the Booze" wall art.

The router bit company he works with is going to pay for the material, labor, and equipment in exchange for photos and videos of its production (for promos on their website).

Everything's coming up Rupption on this one.
[cheers]

I don't understand what booze in random counties has to do with anything, or why your piece is based on that?

You are weird AF.
This snippet from the email string on this project sums it up:

"...I had one more concept that I'd like to run past you for this - I think I can just explain it w/o a new model:

If we were to do it out of plywood (and make it shallower), after it was milled:
Could we go back and laser etch a graphic outline of different Muybridge horses on each county?

The top face of the counties could become parallel to the board face, if need be, and their heights would undulate depending on the stride of the horse (in sequence over strings of counties).

Is that possible production-wise and would it increase the cost significantly (ie: double it) ?

(If it's not too prohibitive) I'm trying to make sure this thing is the most cutting edge and batshit crazy conglomeration of Kentucky references ever produced as a physical object."

National Weather Service is calling for 8 inches Thursday night and Friday with most of it falling during the work hours Friday. Need to just go ahead and call it a 3 day weekend.

They'll cancel in Fayette County tomorrow too. No point in going when you've already missed Monday and Wednesday and there's a definite storm coming Friday.

Can't expect a hot dog eating mountain of an Appalachian to enjoy the finer foods, but I'm disappointed in you, SAE.

You'd probably get Skyline grease stains on your corduroys anyway. Real shame, IMO.

Look, I edited my post to say "inferior," which it is. I thought that was pretty much understood. I mean I'll eat the stuff, but it's got to be a pretty unique situation.

If it's chili I'm after Skyline isn't even in my initial 3-5 minute brainstorming session. :100points:

Just don't see why I'd end up there for chili. Kern's, Deeb's, Frank's; a bevy of local options with the superior River City style.

I know we don't get tons of snow, but it happens at least once every year. This still freaks drivers out and it blows my mind.

It's really not that hard to drive in the snow and not kill everyone on the road.

and here you gd midwesterners go again. can't drive from here to there without 4wd. lord have mercy.

it has to be completely infuriating to play steph curry. most legendary athletes are bigger/faster/stronger. he's just BETTER. it's like he pulls the old "tap a guy on the left shoulder and sneak around his right" all game long. pure brilliance.

didn't even wear a jacket today. long sleeves, though.

shipping container homes, tiny homes = the benefit is cost, without necessarily having to sacrifice style/quality. have a friend that just finished one diy. not a perfect situation for everyone but she's a dink, late-20s, with a paid for house. life changing **** right there.

Speaking of driving, the Porsche GT3 is unreal. Honestly the Cayman GTS wasn't too far behind it either handling wise, but much less horsepower. The corvette Z06 was an absolute beast, but doesn't handle that great around the curves. Kinda scary really.

Did the ride along with a pro driver who drifted the corvette...holy crap. It's an experience going sideways 100mph.
