Well, first to go down! Was good meeting you guys.

Wife's Doctor friend says I probably just pulled my Achilles due to the type of pain being so dull and the fact that I can put any weight on it at all. I was honestly shocked at the lack of pain and the amount of tightness, and if it wasn't for a pop type feel I would have sworn it was a severe Charlie Horse.

At least I was out in time to get a halftime UL bet in.

MRI is the imaging modality of choice for these types of injury.

It will be scheduled in the morning.

Based on the placement between the ankle and calf I assumed it was Achilles at first, but I was glad the wife had a Dr in the living room when I got home.

Tournament is going to be bonkers. This would be an awesome year to be in a good calcutta; 25ish teams could easily make a FF run, hell probably more.

Achilles would be most likely culprit based on what you said. There is a spectrum of injury to the tendon that ranges from a sprain, to partial tear, to complete rupture. X-ray can show some soft tissue swelling but unless you had a complete tear with deformity it won't really help that much. If you can bear weight on the ankle and take 3 steps, statistically it wouldn't be a fracture.

The UofL win was as big of a no brainer as there is in sports. Great coach, coming off a blowout loss at home, top team coming in, fired up crowd. And they controlled the whole game.

Hope you are ok krazy. You went down like you got shot. And a big thanks for leaving me to guard Vern Barkley all night. Marcus be pushing blocking sleds out there.

Props to MB for setting that up for us. That is one of the nicest middle school gyms in the city, if not the best.

I'd love for a team like Oklahoma or Iowa state or Miami (fl) to cut down the nets but I'd bet my life it'll be North Carolina or Louisville or Kansas or some awful ****.

Well considering most of you are complete idiots when it comes to him as a coach, someone has to keep it straight in here.

And I'll always worship his time here at Kentucky. He was the best...until Cal.
Bingo. There are some here that wouldn't vote for him for HOF if they had a vote.

Great time tonight but I already feel miserable, can't imagine what the tomorrow will bring. Luckily I have fasting blood work so I won't even be able to take Advil in the morning.

Hope the injury isn't too bad, Kats. Good meeting everyone.

I think everyone here recognizes Pitino is a great coach. It's pretty damn obvious, and I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone here say he sucks coaching.

However, few of us feel the need to constantly deep throat him. Most also correctly point out that he's done his best to bastardize the game, he's a slime ball, an *******, a liar, a philandering premature ejaculator, a baby killer, a walking corpse, and he's a thin skinned whiny ***** that won't hesitate to cut anyone's throat no matter how loyal they've been to him if it will benefit his self interest.

We went 13-19 the year before he showed up. I was a Sophomore in HS that season. And it was pretty effing miserable. And the next 8 years were the best years of my UK fan life...until the most recent run. But at the time it was nirvana. And that's what I remember. Sorry you can't.

I remember that. I also remember that he coaches our biggest rival and is a generally terrible human being.

I'm not going to hate Pitino because we have the best coach we could possibly ask for and it's effing fantastic. So whatever. Why even worry about them?

Pitino left UK 20 years ago next Spring. He's been gone almost 3x as long as he was here, and he's been at UL 2x as long as he was at UK. He's been at UL longer than anywhere in his entire career. IF he was wearing a jersey in the HOF, it be neon-Syracuse deep Orange and he'd be throwing an L up. He's got a GD UL tattoo. He's UL's coach and therefore he can eat a dick. He is the biggest piece of **** in college basketball and is completely unapologetic about it. In fact, he is appalled by anyone who would call him out on being a piece of ****. He cheated on his wife, he cheated by using hookers to recruit (he touching knew, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a naive idiot).

Maaaaaaan, FU#K Rick Pitino.

Was the doctor in your living room waiting to see you, or was he surprised to see you? And was he sitting on the couch or laying by the fire?

She was sitting on the couch playing with the kids. Her physical therapy session felt awesome, but it's swollen as F today and I have less movement than I did last night which was very little.

Thanks for organizing, and to BD for allowing us to play.

If we had hired PJ Carlesimo, we'd have hung half a dozen more banners. We had a decent little run with Pitino, but we missed out on a sure fire home run when we couldnt ink PJ.
