The highlight of the game so far is the announcer saying that our starting RB was once facing 70 years in prison.

I can only imagine how confused Stoops must have been when SC started calling TO’s to try and get the ball back before half. Doesn’t look like it’s gonna work but I’m sure it was confusing.
Well the announcers were right they weren’t just calling the TOs to get the ball but they wanted to try and pressure Cutter into anothe mistake.
I can’t blame Beamer for wanting to pick on Stoops because of their rivalry and I’d want to do the same to Beamer and USC, but his prickliness is leading to stupid scuffles on the field.
Hopefully Cutter settles down and can play composed the 2nd half and learn.

The halftime scuffle was a nice Mark Stoops moment. We always show our juice whilst getting our teeth kicked in.
All I can see is that Beamer has a bit of little man syndrome and really finds himself involved on the field which is quite telling of his character.
I wouldn’t be mad at all if a play was designed to his sidelines and he somehow “accidentally” got run over.

I think it's time to just take the Football program out in a field, and put it down.

About 8 weeks ago I learned that my sweet Mastiff, Minnie Pearl, had a mass in her lung. 2 weeks ago I had to let her go so she would not suffer. I miss her so very much.
This past Thursday, while at work, I was walking across the hall to the restroom and I caught my toe on the floor and unable to regain my balance I went headfirst into a wall, and as I went down I felt my knee go sideways and heard a crack.
I wasn’t even chewing gum.
I have a fractured tibia and my ACL is compromised.
Let me tell you, being 70 yrs old with an immobilizer on my leg and on crutches is ALMOST as fun as watching this game.
So far, September has been just groovy. It seems like that won’t change tonight.

Whether Stoops is here or not, I believe he will be, it is best to let Cutter play and grow.
Can’t help but think in the future he will take the easy dump downs and hit those deep balls that he just missed to Maclin.
It really sucks to see us strapped with restraints on play calling with an OC that isn’t great at it anyway, but hopefully he has some breakthrough moments as the season goes.
