This is the 2nd worst possible outcome (aside from winning). Mitch will sprint to the podium tomorrow to tell all of us about how we are turning the corner and to stop complaining about the most awful contract in football.

I’m fine with going for it in OT but then why not take a **** at the end of regulation? However if you think two straight runs up the middle against that defense, a defense that is keying on just that, is your best option then I don’t know what to tell you. It is just indefensible.

It boils down to a coaches job is to have EVERY part of the team ready and prepared. The special teams and the offense (no passing TD’s once again) were not.

I wonder how much heart the team will have left after tonight. They left it all out there and to lose like that is just devastating.

The more I think about the last possessions in OT the more pissed I get. Boley had played his a$$ off and to not trust him to make a play is just BS. Play action into a pass, the TE is always open, or naked boot, hell I don’t know but give the kid a chance to make a play. Hamden should have been let go by now. If not that is a fireable offense by Stoops.

- I like seeing Boley, Patterson and Rodriguez but I’d really like to see more of DJ Miller.

- It may be small and nitpicking but if you are going for the FG then down the ball with 8 seconds. I understand wanting some time because if you fumble the snap or anything the holder can get up and toss it incomplete to stop the clock and kick again, but there was no reason to rush and stop the clock just to leave time to kick off…………..

and those are the details this staff just isn’t prepared for, ever.

- It felt like Boley had the TD and then cut it in. Maybe I’m wrong but I felt like he had the corner if he kept going wide.

We threw the ball on 1st down exactly one time all game. With 1 minute left we passed on the first play, but then ran it in first down the next two plays again.

NEVER once did we play action and try to capatilize on what was the most obvious playcalling I’ve seen. Not once!

I get it based on season results you don’t want to see Boley mess up and it cost us, but he is better at what he does as a FR than our staff is at what they’ve done for years!
