Just saw another article where 8 players were deemed ineligible

This part though ouch;

He also said the driving force behind unfounded allegations is a letter sent to SCHSL from someone out of Clinton, North Carolina where Marlboro County’s new head football coach Cory Johnson used to coach.

Story gets weirder by tine day it seems

Sorry but I can't tell me the school didn't know what was going on and didn't condone it 😂. A groups of kids coming with coach and supposedly living with coaches. Almost stupid that they didn't think someone wouldn't look into things

The question is if he offered to come back to Clinton does Clinton have enough pride to tell him that kick rocks or does this one in eight season shake them enough to swallow pride and take the weak path of welcoming him back

Would love to hear @Darkhorse04 take on this subject. I know last season we all felt like something shady was most likely going on. Now this makes me think my instincts were right.
I felt they were cheating last year, but who am I to say. I think that coach brought a kid on scholarship when he came(kaba) so we all suspected shenanigans from thus guy. Clinton getting just what they deserve this year

I don’t know nothing about nothing when it comes to Clinton, but IF they were cheating last year and an investigation was done wouldn’t they have found something? I mean if someone calls in a “rumor” and the school/team hasn’t truly done anything wrong, then when the HSAA comes a searching they won’t find anything. Same thing with MC this year, regardless of who was talking crap from where and sending in letters or whatever, if everything was on the up and up, then that so called letter isn’t worth the paper it’s written on because it’s crap. In this years case there must of been something to it for them to come down this hard. Last year at Clinton, everything must of checked out or wouldn’t the same thing of happened?

The situation raises significant concerns, not only for the integrity of the sport but also for the students and the schools involved. While it’s commendable that the program has seen such dramatic improvement, it also raises questions about recruitment practices and player eligibility. For instance, the fact that star players transferred to Marlboro County indicates a shift in power dynamics, which can be disruptive, particularly for schools like Clinton that have historically performed well.

The forfeiture against Loris, citing electrical issues, raises eyebrows, especially since there was no attempt to reschedule the game. This decision has implications for the region standings, as it not only impacted Loris's championship but also created a ripple effect that could alter playoff scenarios. If Marlboro County faces further forfeits due to player ineligibility, as suggested, it could completely reshape the playoff landscape for teams like Aynor, who could benefit from any shifts in standings.

Additionally, the incident with North Myrtle Beach, where a forfeit was rescinded without explanation, adds another layer of complexity to the situation.

I wonder if the kids from Clinton could move back home and play? Coach/players may not want them.
If a player is listed as having broker the rules causing his team to forfeit that player is normally suspended from athletics for 365 days. NC would honor SC's rule on this. SC did it with a player I know in 2009.

Where do you come up with this stuff. Like who are you lol. SC is a lot more serious about football then NC. Clinton U did the same thing last year, bringing players from all over to play at Clinton U. SC just doesn't put up with this ****. Clinton U brought kids from all over, Coach brought his prodigy kaba with him from the jump. Moved hours away and moved in with the coach lol. Same **** they are doing down on SC

So wait, let me get this straight........Clinton coach get job in SC. Takes a half dozen of his best players with him. (who realistically thought that a half dozen kids/families moved from Clinton NC to Bennettsville SC?). Got caught, so they cancelled a game claiming "electrical issues" within the stadium?????? LOL You cant make that up

I don't think they looked in the right places at Clinton last year. Simply because they investigated MC three or four times before they found anything. The first times they didn't find anything, but (I'm guessing), whoever was behind it must have told them exactly what to look for. So it seems that they had their cover up so good that unless you knew exactly where to look, and exactly what to look for, they couldn't find anything. There were some facts about stuff that went on last season that I knew about, and i thought that Clinton would face the same as MC is facing now, but they investigated and found nothing. Therefore I couldn't, and didn't say anything, so whoever kept reporting MC must have known exactly what to look for. I hate it for the kids, and it's sad that this has happened at this point in the season.

They didn't care to look into Clinton U. It's the same exact thing going on at Marlboro. Doesn't take rocket science to see
