Hammer Coming For Clinton South?

Dude chill. All I was saying is that it’s hard to believe the NCHSAA would look into the allegations of Clinton last year and find no wrong doing and then a similar action would take place in SC with the same coach, and the SCHSAA would look into it and find something and bring down a punishment.

Does that mean there wasn’t nothing to find at Clinton last year or did the NCHSAA just drop the ball and/or are just incompetent as compared to the SCHSAA.

We can’t keep blaming Clinton and CJ for cheating if nothing was ever deemed wrong by state. At some point we all have to let that go and move on. Now as for what he is into now in SC, that’s a different story, but as far as I had heard Clinton was in the clear regardless of what all of us may suspect was really going on last year or any other year he was there.

They do have talent coming from their middle schools, and I think this season they only had like 5 seniors. They may make some noise in a year or two. I spoke with some from Clinton this past weekend and they don't agree with the coaching, so who knows where they'll go from there. But they do have a group of good kids coming.

Clinton U did the same thing last year, bringing players from all over to play at Clinton U. SC just doesn't put up with this ****. Clinton U brought kids from all over, Coach brought his prodigy kaba with him from the jump. Moved hours away and moved in with the coach lol. Same **** they are doing down on SC

They won't go to Clinton U anymore. Sampson Co talent used to go to Clinton U. People don't understand what is truly going on. Hopefully CJ will never have another job helping kids. The guy is a complete clown show

Well I'm sure they don't agree with the coaching. Eight players from your senior class going to South Carolina with the snake oil piece of crap CJ. They should give boykin a chance. He'll build support locally. He'll develop kids. He's one hell of an offensive line coach. Don't you guys go running them out of there before you give him a chance

I think Johnson was the first "out of town coach" at Clinton in the last 50 years or so, and they've gone back to a coach who grew up in the community so not sure what your point is there. Just my opinon as an observer of eastern football for many years, but "Clinton U' was pretty much a Coach Johnson thing and he tried to take the same approach to SC, but unfortunately the stench left in Clinton will linger for a while. Clinton was a blue-blood program built on local talent before Johnson came. It would be interesting to know if Clinton was aware of his plan for roster building when he applied for the job, but regardless Marlboro County knew exactly what they were signing up for.

Clinton will survive this issue, they are a tradition rich proud program who just made a bad for the program hire, every school has done it including my dogs. I do not know for certain if Clinton done anything illegal or not but they are paying for it this year if they did. Let them take their punishment and move on if its warranted. Coach is one piece of work and he should be banned from coaching in both states forever. Of course there is one Clinton poster in particular that would say he’s only being targeted for one reason.
