This is the type of misinformation that MAGA puts out regarding the SAVE act. The requirement isn't just to present an ID to vote. Most people would be fine with that. The requirement is that you present proof of citizenship either a passport or original copy of a birth certificate. A passport would be the easiest form to present but only half the county has passports and that skews to the more wealthy half of the country. The act would become law immediately so half the country would have to scramble to make sure they have a proper birth certificate. In reality the SAVE act is a voter suppression law to reduce voter turnout for the poor by making it more difficult to vote. The popular argument is that you need an ID to buy alcohol or cigarettes so why not require an ID to vote. Well you don't need a passport to buy alcohol do you?

I said half the people don’t have passports not documents. Your source said the same thing. Exactly how am I spreading misinformation?

Your source also said 21 million people don't have ready access to these documents. Voter suppression.

Because there is no requirement to present a passport. Everyone but cheating Democrats is against voter ID. And since the Democrat party is the elitist party, more of their voters have passports.

Good Lord, like a good Democrat you are totally against fair elections. Florida is proof that once you remove the massive Democrat fraud, Democrats don’t stand a chance. Hence Jim Crow 2.0! And your party openly believes black people are too stupid to get ID! And that black people don’t know what is good for them since over 75 percent support voter ID. They support presenting an ID to vote not proof of citizenship. I have no issue with Voter ID to establish identity.

The SAVE act requires proof of citizenship which typically is a passport or an original copy of a birth certificate. It serms you don't know much about the SAVE act. Trump wants to suppress voters who he believes vote Democratic.

I can't show proof of something that didn't happen. Why has there not been one successful case of prosecuted voting fraud? It must be nice to not think for yourself and just think what Trump tells you to think saves you a great deal of time and energy.
