Have you ever personally stormed the field at Rutgers Stadium?

In 1980 at the last Rutgers - Princeton football game. The old wooden goalposts were torn down. It was pretty chaotic for a while. Fraternities fighting for their piece of history.
My late Dad (at 85) did at the 2014 Michigan game.
I did South Florida. I shook Anthony Davis's hand - it was like shaking a bunch of bananas. Absolutely huge and I'm 6'3".
The most obscure storming game in my lifetime was in 1999, I think, when Rutgers defeated Syracuse:

Me too - USF - I didn't "storm it but I was on the field checking out how cushy it was.
I realized how players got away without knee pads.
I know for sure in 2006 but Kev was actually in the lockerroom as he helped an injured player inside before the craziness happened- but he came back out and met us midfield. USF - and again Michigan

1998 after the Army game, and 1999 after the Syracuse game. I lost my foam seat that was a gift after the Syracuse game and that ended my storming the field days.
I don’t recall anyone storming the field after MSU in 2004. Maybe the students. Definitely Navy 05, Louisville 06, USF 07 and Michigan 14.
I never "stormed" the field. Did take my girls (11 and 8 at the time) onto the field after the Louisville game once the initial surge subsided. One had a Rice jersey, the other a Leonard jersey; people thought that was cute.

My wife, an alumna and I danced on the scarlet "R" at midfield 2014 against Michigan. She had no idea why it was a B1G deal and only goes to the game to tailgate and see the horse.
I had a client with me in the second row against Louisville, but had an early meeting in NYC the next day, so idiotically skipped it. I remember tearing up after the final play.
Also, went on the field during the 1976 undefeated season, but the details are more than a bit hazy. The teammate who I was with passed last year.

I have been aound OL for the past couple of decades and the biggest hands I ever shook did not belong to any of them.

I don't think we all get enough credit for having that first rush and then being smart enough as a fan base to clear the fied in less than 30 seconds so we could get the final play off. Not many fanbases would have cleared.
Friend gambling with the Devils Ken Daneyko one time in AC said the same thing…,could not get over how big his hands were.
VT 1992 was the first game my girlfriend(now wife) went to together. I was so looking forward to this years game, but unfortunately it is on Rosh Hashanah, so we can't attend.
back at Marist college- there was a hedge that separated the grounds from the main highway that was there. It was about 6 ft tall- So often, you would see this blond haired kid walking and he seemed to be talking to himself. But usually, he had a group of other kids around him that were all 6ft or less so you couldn't see them. His GF at that time could not have been more than 5ft2. lol

Although I played in that game, I don't recall running and jumping onto the pile of players. I remember trying to shake the hands of several Va. Tech players, but they were in shock and didn't acknowledge my presence.
The UL game (2006) was crazy. As soon as Ito kicked the winning FG, I went to the tunnel to avoid the rush. I sensed the rushing of the field was coming.
The USF game was lame, in my opinion. I didn't respect the Bulls because their ranking was BULL. When the game ended, I walked off the field saying to a friend the rankings are BS these days. There was no way we should lose to USF.
You most likely saw my son helping one of the Injured WR's off the field and into the lockerroom (so he wouldnt get crushed) or saw him running back out onto the field to celebrate.
RIP to your dad but awesome he was out there in 2014. For me, the best opportunity was 2006, Louisville. Instead, I watched in the stands with my 6 year old son, soaked it in and took some amazing selfies with him, photos and videos of the insane craziness on the field. That was an amazing night.
