Auburn - SEC West 1-7 overall 0-6 SEC Lost to Tex. A & M 63-21 ( A & M now 6-2 overall 3-2 SEC West)
Troy- Sun Belt 4-4 overall 3-3 Sunbelt Lost to Florida Atlantic 34-27 (FAU now 2-6 overall 1-4 Sunbelt)
South Alabama Sun Belt 2-6 overall 1-3 Sunbelt Lost to ULM 38-24
Kentucky SEC East 1-8 overall 0-6 SEC Lost to Missouri 33-10 (Mizzou now 4-4 overall 1-4 SEC East)

Without stating the obvious, Mullen has got 6 days to correct 3 areas of concerns-
1 & 2 are: Special Teams on both sides are atrocious. Punt returners HAVE to come up and catch the dang ball. If Banks needs glasses so he can judge the punt distance, for gosh sakes get him some. Most of the time when a punted ball hits the ground in the field of play the results just don't favor the receiving team. Maybe try 2 punt returners with an up back and a deep back. That was ridiculous last night.
3: Defense. If you aren't going to cover the receivers tight, then sell out ala Joe Lee Dunn style and send everybody and just play man a man. Our opponents receivers could all have contagious diseases and none of our defenders would have a chance of catching a single airborne germ.
Other than that, I think we are in good shape to finish the season and go back to Nashville.
