But spending $3 million on disco lights at DWS, what a waste for a bunch of day games.

Neither did I because I wanted him. That being said he said all the right things but who know if O’Connor is saying this right now or truly means it or not. Someone recommended Wake Forest’s head coach D1 Baseball I believe and Wes Johnson. We may have to just throw some extra money their way to truly get who we want if we can and if Selmon will. So guys who would you bet on at this point? Even Kansas’s coach was brought up recently on that podcast. Who are your fav picks and why? If not O’Connor…

We already spent that on the baseball field lights. We were the only football team to not have them in our conference along with the IPF that we just announced. But baseball which loses money yearly has had those lights for 6 years.
Softball and Tennis have LED lights too. Just FYI.
All of these teams have something in common that the football team doesnt...night games.
So instead of 2-10 this season those lights will make us improve to what this year? Those lights are used less than 7 nights a year max out of 365 a year. Seven nights a year if ALL games were night games!!
The lights at The Dude seldom get used there either, tomorrow night it won't be dark till 8:30ish so 2 1/2 hrs after our start and the only time they are used is on a HR anyway. Day games Saturday and Sunday so they'll be wasted then too. Total waste of money.
Like I said $3 million wasted at DWS for an occasional night game too
