I've got a 8 year old son who I want to start playing football in the fall. We have been discussing it but he seems to only want to play baseball. As a football guy, this does hurt. Any comments or feedback? This is my first born so I'm not sure how to handle it . Thx

I am mostly a baseball guy.
Mine decided he wanted to play football early and a few of the local rec coaches wanted him to because of his aggressive attitude.
Long story short his cousin got him to wait until middle school to play football(cousin was 3 year starter at WR in HS).
Now my son plays all 3 major sports in HS and enjoys the change of pace. Let them try them all and it will work out.
Unless he wants to go to soccer, then ugh...
