Hey, Grandpa, What’s for Supper?

I'm not crazy about them but my wife abusoutely LOVES them!
Honestly, I used to live for dinner everyday. I started on a weight loss drug a few months ago and my appetite has dwindled to almost zero. Last night I ate a third of an 8 oz hamburger steak, about 1/2 cup of roasted cabbage and onions and a small slice of watermelon.
Just had hamburger steak and gravy with onions, cream potatoes with brown gravy, cabbage with hot pepper vinegar, hush puppies, rolls, iced tea, and banana pudding at my favorite restaurant in Morehead City, Cox Family Restaurant. Great place with an unbelievable food menu. Going back for supper to get seafood. lol
Tonight: Fried oysters, green beans, slaw, hush puppies, unsweetened iced tea, vanilla ice cream with hot caramel.
Just had pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, black eyed peas, dinner rolls, iced tea, and vanilla ice cream drizzled with hot caramel at Cox Family restaurant. Heading back for supper later.
Black eyed peas is one thing I could just never acquire a taste for. I don't like them....at all.
I guess I'm just an old country boy, but I need ham hocks in them and I put, belive it or not ketchup on them. (A lot of people do that) It's the only way I can eat them.
Tonight: Baked BBQ chicken on a bed of Spanish rice, mashed potatoes and gravy, cabbage, hush puppies, unsweetened ice tea, vanilla ice cream.
Heading back home tomorrow so I'll be back to cooking my supper meals.

Last of the Reuben sandwiches. I used Boar’s Head deli corned beef so I could finish off the sauerkraut and rye bread.
