You MUST be feeling better!Baked beef toquitoes, pinto beans with onions topped with cheddar cheese and taco sauce, Mexican rice topped with shredded Monterey jack cheese and fire sauce, salsa and restaurant style tortilla chips, unsweetened iced tea, and the last of the boiled chocolate oatmeal cookies. lol
Not really. It's a day to day issue. I've had severe digestive issues my while life and I have a rare blood disorder that affects my digestive system organs. I go overboard quite a few times as I really like spicy food. I'm 70 years old and my days on this planet are probably numbered now with my issues, so I just say **** it most of the time and I pay for it later. lol But there are days I question just what the hell am I doing? lmao So I go bland most of the time for breakfast and lunch and in between meals and splurge if I feel like it over supper. Even saw the doctor yeaerday for the extended nausea I've had for months now that is getting worse. It's a new symptom. Seeing your post makes me thing maybe I should dial it back, but we'll see. lolYou MUST be feeling better!
Thanks. I won't get into all mine because it would take up a few pages. Briefly I have chronic pancreatitis, a rare blood disease that damaged my liver and other organs, diverticulitis, colitis, and a host of other wonderful ailments. lmao I do the best I can. The diabetes is also a tough thing. All this affects my digestive system big time.So sorry to hear about your blood disorder. I have one myself -- polycythemia Vera, where my body produces too many red blood cells. The only treatment is every other month i go to the cancer center, have my blood work numbers checked and if my hematocrit is above 48, then the do a phlebotomy and remove 500 units of blood.
Not life threatening but an aggravation nonetheless. Like you, I turned 71 just 3 days ago.
Thankfully, it doesn't effect my love for spicy foods also.
Best of luck to you.
