When hoggard and the Scots met in the eastern finals when scots won with 2 point conversion was a thriller but hoggard has been back one time since and the scots blew them out.

Hoggard beat Jacksonville Northside 28-0 last week. It was 28-0 at the half and Northside finished with 57 yards of total offense. Hoggard had 2 starting offensive lineman out and their all state safety. With that being said, Northside is not very good. This Hoggard team is much better than the 2019 team. The 2019 offense just couldn’t get any consistency the whole season. In 2019 it was 27-13 with 5 mins left and the defense ran out of gas as they were on the field all night. This defense has a nice mix of seniors and juniors. If Hoggards 3 new LBs play well I do not see them giving up 40 this year. The offense is much more balanced and in rhythm and should be able to move the ball and score which will keep the defense fresh. I dont know if Hoggard or SC know what they really have based off of week 1 opponents. Hoping for a great game and a great atmosphere at the Pate.

Good than guess I will be at pate friday night with the jumbotron hope for a good game the atmosphere is always great at Pate.
I agree. I prefer to catch Richmond/Scotland at Scotland vs at Richmond. Always have.
We're going to have our hands full with Hoggard... we have some talent, but it is very young talent. I feel good about our run defense..... defending the long ball is where I lose sleep. We got a young developing QB (suppose to be a stud...stilling waiting to see it)... that North Durham game was a joke (complete waist of a Friday and Monday)... I don't know why Bailey scheduled that one... must of owed someone a favor. I honestly think Hoggard may take this one... just being honest (fellow Scots)
Watched the WBTW Blitz preview on Scotland today. They hyped up their new QB said he commutes an hour to and from school each day. I wonder if the Scots give him gas money. LOL
… Dern !!Sure was nice to roll out of Pate with the win. Was disappointed with the attendance. I have been to at least a dozen games there and this was the smallest crowd I’ve seen. That place is electric when it’s full.
SC has some nice pieces and will be fine. They just couldn’t finish drives. SC missing the one or two guys that simply have break away speed that the usually have. Great play calling for Hoggard, they took what they could get. The defensive scheme was impressive too. Hoggard had 2 starting LBs out and a starting CB and held the Scots to 7 points. We will enjoy the weekend and then get ready for WF.

Because I am under Quarantine , and I was wondering why was the fan base so small ? Is because they are not allowing but so many fans like last years just to keep things safe . I know Scotland , Richmond, southern pines and hoke county has some high numbers in Covid right now . I am just wondering if they are trying to keep things as safe as possible ?

As far as I know, there are no restrictions for fans at the moment. Just a poor showing.
People may be staying home but there weren’t any restrictions at the game.
I own a home in Wilmington in the Laney school district. However when it comes to High School football I support Hoggard simply because when I was in High School in Fayetteville in the 70s Hoggard was a Fayetteville conference friend/foe. I stick with them out of familiarity and loyalty and nostalgia.
