I absolutely love Canada and hope we maintain great relations. I was engaged in Toronto at the CN tower (my future wife could not stand heights, lol). I actually had a client in Toronto for several years and spent 2-3 days a week there. Love the city. My favorite is Vancouver. Great city. So clean. Homelessness and vagrancy has become a big problem. I took my new wife there about a year ago. I also had a client there and spent a couple of years there as well. Very cosmopolitan. Back then, we could smoke cuban cigars on terraces overlooking the streets. Wonderful times. I first saw the Phantom of the Opera in Toronto at the Pantages Theatre. What a performance.
Keystone will be approved and pretty quickly. It was simply insane to deny the permit. All politics.
I too PAX spent many wonderful times in Canada growing up in Western New York just across the Niagara River from it. We used to go across the "Peace Bridge" over to Ft. Erie Ontario to Crystal Beach when I was a kid (Great amusement Park) Later when I got older, we'd run up to Toronto and visit the CNE in the Summer (Canadian National exhibition) eat out on Young St. Go shopping on Bloor street, watch the Sail boats in the Marina near the Downtown waterfront and inner harbor, and ride to the top of CN tower for a fabulous view.
Clean city, cosmopolitan, vibrant, international flavor, great Chinese restaurants, and decent eye candy if you like a little spice and variety.
