That was Shabazz.
Meal plans stop at 7pm and they basically aren't allowed to have jobs. It's silly they don't expand the meal plan considering how much money the athletes bring in.

That would be a violation
Are you seriously arguing that players should have to call up coaches if they get hungry at night? Or would simply changing the rules be easier?
Who is forcing these "victims" to accept these scholarships that just about starve them to death. They not only get their educational scholly but they also receive instructions from the highest paid employees on campus (coaches) on how to make a living if they chose to not utilize their degree. Why shouldn`t all students have access to additional tutoring on how to make a living without a degree just like the athletes ?
Dan Mullen keeps the Bulldogs practicing to the point that they can't eat supper? I assure you that pumping these guys full of carbs and protein is very important to the coaching staff.
Again, they should get student loans if they are "going hungry" at night. Or not have a cell phone and it's bill. Or not have so many shoes. Or have a pet. Or dozens of other ways to save money.
But what he said is probably true to some extent. Athletes eat around the clock. It'd probably help for them to have a little more money for food. Now will they use it for food? Maybe some, maybe not. If they figured out that it would prevent them from getting hungry at night when they need another meal, I'd venture to say so. The first couple of times, yeah they would probably blow it on a ps4 game or whatever. But at that point, the university wouldn't have to defend itself. Just a thought.
