Both teams lost in the first round last season.
Both teams are about to lose several impact players.

Yep, another guy thinking UK, which beat 2 of the final four teams, is a NAIA squad and university. Just plain silly.
Could have sworn we beat Florida when we were somewhat healthy.
So far I don't think our 2026 roster can be at this level. But we ARE building a foundation that could see our 2027 roster be at this level.
With NIL and the goofy portal it is gonna ebb and flow for teams from season to season.

Goldin built this FL team in 3 years. And I don’t think anyone predicted that Clayton would develop into what he is now. Without him they would have lost in second round to UConn.

I suspect that if we’re healthy then next year will be a lot like this year. We’ll be in the mix and possibly make a run.
Agree that the year after we could be much improved, hopefully developing more continuity.
I kind of look at it like when Pitino got here. Throw out year 1, which was impossible. Year 2 we won the SEC regular season. Year 3 lost the game of the century. Year 4 were an expected Final Four team and met that expectation.
I think we’ll be a year ahead of that schedule. Would love to sneak into the FF next year, if only to shut up some of our crazies and trolls.

That is such and idiotic post. With basketball, every year is different, in which 1 player can make a huge swing.
My reference is, could UK beart either of these teams EVEN fully healthy, the way they are playing...I think not
