if in threaded view, the newest posts replies shows at the bottom rather than the top. Or are you used to this way now. It's kind of backwards from how Yuku worked.

If you don't know what I am talking about - then you need not answer.

I like it better the Yuku way for sure, but this is fine.

I preferred the Yuku wait. It made more of a chronological sense to me. Unfortunately if you did change it back, I would be confused once again. As I have grown used to the current format.

I'm used to it now so it really doesn't matter to me ... I only wished

there was a way to identify the new post in an existing thread other than an icon next to the thread starter saying new ( which doesn't really identify the new post only )

where the post is, is not as important as the "new" notifier that yuku had. sorry if I'm flogging a deceased equine.

The new icon will only show if a whole topic has a new post inside of it. It won't do it individually unless you go inside and you are viewing in hybrid view. If the indicator is blue, that means there is a new post. I read my initial posts but haven't read the replies below it. It's a 2 pronged approach. Not as good as Yuku but it's the best that can be done.

I'm used to this way. Took all of about 5 minutes. Only thing I miss is the Yuku "New" flag.

I do see that. I liked it better when it identified which replies were new. Or hell, did it even do that on Yuku or just mark the topic like this does? Now I'm not even sure.

I'm using topic view right now, but would actually switch back to thread view if new posts went to bottom of the thread/reply. Just makes chronological sense to me.

Yuku Way was easier to follow. The reply and quoted reply still are not being placed in the correct position in the thread. Why does it continue to do this?

For example, I just clicked reply thread and it replied to last post as if I...

Was responding to a specific post within the thread.

Definitely like the newest post being up top, but if it's a substantial amount of work to change, it's really not that big of a deal.

This.

Im ok with it on the full site, but I hate how the thread gets arrainged on the mobile version.

Took me a while to realize that when somebody replies to a post, it inserts the reply behind the original post rather than chronologically at the bottom.

It makes sense the way Vbulletin does it but yea - it's different from Yuku. If you change the Display to "Linear" it will display chronologically.

I gave up on the threaded view

at the board switchover. Having the newest post at the top (underneath the starting post) was not very intuitive and confusing.

If I had my preference, the Yuku threaded view is what I'd have.

I like the topic view better than the threaded view option here.

I like it the way it is now, newest on top. But if you're talking about replies, the newest on top was a bit disconcerting for a while but now that I'm used to it, it's fine. I'd vote for not changing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

agreed. this **** is still confusing. I'd use topic view, but when you click on a topic, the new posts show up in the middle of the thread. It makes no sense.

I wish it was just linear.

I liked it better with older toward the top.

I still get confused and frightened by the new way sometimes, but I'm only a caveman...

Definitely prefer from oldest at the top to the newest at the bottom, just makes more sense.

EDIT: And apparently I am still having problems with replying, because when I click on reply to thread at the top of the page it doesn't reply correctly as shown in this reply.

I liked Yuku a little better, but its not that important. Kind of used to the new way now.

I am a member of another board like this one so it's no big deal. It takes a little while to get used to but so did Yuku when we went there.
