ESPN ain't budging.
Yea that interface may suck on hulu but at least I'm watching ESPNESPN ain't budging.
This has probably been answered several times already. How are you watching the games on ABC on Saturday's? Can you watch those games through the ESPN Unlimited package? With the $20 credit they gave, and only having to pay $10 more over my current Disney bundle price to get the one with ESPN Unlimited, I come out $10-ish ahead, with the only penalty having to jump apps. I can do that with one button click and pressing an arrow key on my remote.
I would expect the credit to continue if the dispute keeps pushing out.
I can watch any ABC games on the ESPN app. I just can't watch non-ESPN shows on ABC live . . . have to use the news app to watch my local channel news, and then watch on Hulu the next day for any other shows. But the wife and I watch one show on ABC, and we normally don't see it until a month later on DVR.This has probably been answered several times already. I'm likely to stay also. As long as I can have reasonable access, I'll be ok, not much football, regular season left.It sucks but I’m gonna stay with them until resolution. Hopefully soon!
And unless you do the right kind of multi-directional antenna installed on or near the roof and use pair it with the appropriate splitter configuration, the cheap flat leaf-style antennas look like azz on the walls (used one in my temporary apartment years ago when moving between jobs). Plus, my TVs are nowhere near windows or anywhere to pick up decent reception. Knowing my lovely wife the way I do, it's not even worth bringing the subject up.Antenna still gets you ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC, CW, and others in HD in most places. And usually for a one time purchase of $20 or less
Neither side will budge on this one. YTTV is not about to raise prices to over $100. This is the first operator ESPN is going after with gloves off. The others will follow soon. It also does not help that YTTV's multi-view, in game stats and "watch key plays" feature is better than ESPN's app, and that YTTV buffers MUCH less than ESPN's app. Also, YTTV fills in the ad space with ad deals they procure, and I am certain ESPN hates that with a passionate greed.ESPN ain't budging.
I’m not sure what all you need but here’s a scaled back version with all sports channels…. a few others like business, news and others for $70. Actually $60 your first 2 months. It fits me perfectly and plan to stay with it. I’ve had YTTV and it’s fine but I don’t see where’s it really any better than others like DTV.I'm likely to stay also. And, believe we have an open date in that. This won't last forever. If I thought it was going to be extended, I'd likely try Direct Tv, Cspire is primping that. And, I've used it before. (it's more than I need.)
I can either watch them w/ the Unlimited Package or I've also got an antenna. I prefer the antenna because the picture is so much clearerThis has probably been answered several times already. I put my antenna on the roof and connected it to the coax wire that was still on the satellite dish on top of my house when I bought it 10 years ago. I took down the dish and connected the antenna to the old coax. There was coax already going to every bedroom, den and patio from the Dish service.
