He may double it. But that doesn't change the fact that he is a high school level coach that hires his buddies.
If you remember back when we were hiring Mullen, the other major candidate was Kevin Wilson. Lebby is just another version of Kevin Wilson.
Kevin Wilson used Ben Rothensberger at Miami-Ohio to put up big numbers. He went to Northwestern with Walker and rode Walker's coattails to a Big Ten Championship at Northwestern. Then he goes to Oklahoma when OU was pulling the top talent in the country and Stoops was rolling.
He gets his first head coaching job after 21 years of being a D1 assistant coach and bombs at Indiana.
Lebby does the same thing at Baylor with Stoops that Wilson did with Walker. I know that there was some issues, but eight years at Baylor and he has to go to an NAIA school? Huepel bails him out and hires him at UCF for a couple years but doesn't take him to Tennessee. A couple years at Ole Miss and Oklahoma putting up big numbers with offensive minded head coaches.
The fact of the matter is that Selmon should be judged by this lazy hire of Lebby. There were way better coaches available. This is the Clarion Ledger list of candidates to replace Arnett:

Everyone on the list would have been better than Lebby.
