I agree on #1 and while I know that they're doing what they can to keep Gore healthy, he's still their best back by a mile and they need to quit screwing around with the carousel backfield. Gore had 21 carries against GB, 9 against Seattle, 11 against the Colts, and 20 last night. Guess which two games San Fran won? Just give the man the ball.
Regarding the passing attack, my primary knock on Kap at this point is this. He has proven that he can make the difficult throws, he has a rocket arm, and he's fast as hell. We all get that... If he wants to be able to sustain drives and turn into the next superstar QB, though, he's going to have to learn that sometimes the 20 yarder just isn't going to be there. That's ok. Take the 5 yard dump off to Gore or the 8 yards to your tight end. When the Niners went 3 and out on several occasions last night, they were nearly always in 3rd and long situations and you're just not going to survive for long when you're running an offense like that.
Finally, the Niners just need to scrounge for as many wins as they can right now and get healthy. Even with PWillis and Aldon out last night, their D was still pretty damn good, but it's a whole lot better when they're playing. On offense, I think they'll look like a difference unit when Davis gets healthy and Crabtree/Manningham get back. When that's going to happen, I have no idea, but you're talking about four all pros that either didn't play last night or they were nowhere near to being healthy(Davis). San Fran will be who we thought they'd be once those guys get back.
