Also liked the yahoo fantasy football app. The twitter app is good. Of course ESPN scorecenter. The Weather Channel. I would say gas buddy but there is no cheap gas to be found so who cares. Instant heart rate. And of course the StepBrothers sound board.
Would be, first and foremost, Pandora. Otherfavorites include Google Earth, Google Voice, Wikidroid, Key Ring, Advanced Task Killer, Directv, TuneIn Radio, Scanner Radio, Wootwatcher, Groupon, LivingSocial, RunKeeper, Soundhound, Urbanspoon and WiFi Analyzer.
I've really enjoyed my Cell South Galaxy S. The new software update is supposed to be available for download by EOM, which can only make it a better experience.

Reader it Later -- Save articles to a reading list and then read them later on your Android or iPhone . The mobile app strips out all the advertisements an other junk and gives you plain text with a white background. The reading list is also synced to your phone so you can access your reading list even if you have no 3G/WiFi connectivity. Also great for when you're dropping a deuce.
My Taptu -- An RSS reader/news aggregator. Pick from their extensive list or sync with your google reader. A great way to skim through headlines that interest you.
Evernote -- Web based note-taking tool with mobile app for Android/iPhone. Create to-do lists, upload photos with notes, etc. Great for keeping track things that you are constantly forgetting.

Amazon is kicking off their Android Ap Store by giving away a different ap every day. Very easy signup if you already have an Amazon account. Yesterday was SkyDroid, golf distance ap. Downloaded Angry Birds Rio, Paper Toss, Wofram ALpha and X Construct that is a mind grabbing bridge building game.
Know all those stupid little club memberships that stores ask you to join to get their discounts and then they give you their "card" or "rewards card", etc, and they even give you a keychain version?

Card Star stores these stupid little membership cards as barcodes in your phone and a barcode will display when selected to show the cashier; it can also give you unique discounts to certain stores.
It doesn't stop there though. It will store any barcode you desire. My wife has her library card on hers.

Charge it for 8 hours with the phone on.
Turn it off and let it charge1 hour. Leave it plugged in.
Turn it back on andcharge it foranother10 hours.
My Galaxy S was going dead by 4:00 every afternoon before I did this, and afterwards, I had about half battery life left at the end of the day.
On a side note, I have the Advanced Task Killer App, and can't see where it helps with speed or battery life.

I was told by someone that she thinks they send an email or a text but she wasn't 100% sure. I do know they post all notifications on Facebook and on their website so if you want to know you can friend them or check the website randomly.the next big thing said:

There are several apps that will show your battery life by percent left, I would suggest getting one of those. Handcent is a quality app, it allows quick text responses and generally makes texting easier. I prefer Wordfeud over WWF. Weather Channel App is pretty good. Soundhound is good to have as well as the Amazon app store.

unless it has changed recently, Wordfued doesn't allow you to play with iPhone users while WWF does. That is the main reason it is more popular.Bdog9090 said:

Don't know how I ever flew or traveled without them. Both should be available for Android. Also Slacker Radio http://www.slacker.com/everywhere/mobile/android/ I use that much more often than Pandora.
Wunder Radio. Seriously it costs like... eight bucks and that's a STEAL. Just about ANY radio station that offers streaming you can listen to on Wunder Radio. As I was driving to Dallas Friday, I was able to listen to the game. No more ****** radio stations for me (You hear me talkin' to ya Z106?!). 98.1 The Max-Millington/Memphis; i105.9- Knoxville; 91.1X- Monroe... There is life outside of Jack FM, Rock 93.9 and all that other **** that gets fed out of Jackson every day...<div>

Buzz Deck and Express News are good for keeping up with what's going on the in the world. TV Listings is good for, uh, TV programs. Pandora for music. And if I were you, I would stay the hell away from Angry Birds.
