Urban LiteMullen's style was to coach and motivate through fear. Unless you were a favorite, you were essentially a business unit. At least that's what you felt like.
biggest question, how do you use Dales? and does it stunt the growth of a juiced up 17 year old?
Not really. I called him Cousin Eddie on multiple occasions.Did the team have a nickname(s) for Mullen?
What did you make on the English section of the ACT?
Hard to say as I don't know much about what Florida has this year. I'm gonna say 35-21 Dawgs though.Score prediction on 9/29?
If there was a way, I never figured it out.Was there a way to become one of Mullen's BFFs? Was everyone either doomed or favored based on his first impression? Based on your experience, it seems like that was the case, but was there anyone who worked their way into his good graces after starting outside of them?
Tough one. Both did good things for State.Greg Byrne or Scott Stricklin?
Some requested I start a thread for this so I figured I'd give it a whirl since I'm on my lunch break. Football or other, ask me anything.
Have you ever played a real football position?
Is soccer more of a threat to the United States than ISIS?
Tell us about Lee Begley.
Is Damian Williams a ***** about everything or just his hair?

The next punt following my shank at Georgia in 2011. I proved to myself that I wasn't going to be a headcase. Is there one particular punt you are most proud of, and if so, what was the game and situation?
Kudos to you for playing for Mullenz, starting this thread and having a great sense of humor. Most of all, thanks for putting on the MSU uniform and representing our school. Look like you have done well after graduation, congrats.
A couple of questions if you can answer, what is one thing about Mullenz coaching or personality that would surprise us (good or bad) and why do you think he had such a hard time with Defensive Coordinators?
Punting always seemed to be pretty solid under Dan, from Heath Hutchins to yourself to Devon Bell to Logan Cooke, but field goal kicking seemed to be a circus many times and we were always pretty underwhelming in the return game. Why do you think that is, and how much focus did special teams actually get in practice?
How much do players pay attention to message boards? Negative/positive comments “inside information” etc?
How much do coaches?
Once on campus, how do players view recruiting of new players? Follow closely? Don’t care? Excited/disappointed?
On that UGa game - was the team aware of Niko personally watering the hedges? Did anyone else do the same?
I think there were a few factors with that. A good bit of the time, he wouldn't tell the kickers who was starting that week. He wouldn't even tell them the day of the game. His philosophy was that you should be ready at all times. Which is fine but I can just tell you, when you know you're the starter, you approach that whole week differently. You are more serious. You think through things differently. He hated specialists as a whole. He'd make us run half gassers on Thursdays before the game just because. There were plenty of times where we'd be sore or tight on Saturday's because of that. There was a time during camp that if the kicker made a 45 yard field goal, no one had to run. He made it. Everybody got to go in to the locker room. He made us run anyway.
Just stuff like that contributes to the lack of success I think.
Are the dead injuns alive???
"Swedenburg said he's always been technically inclined and built his own computer when he was in 10th grade."I'm that guy everyone calls if they have a computer problem," he said."
Alliance or Horde?
It probably happened. He probably lightened up in his later years at State. But at first. Absolutely not.Do you think Boniol told Mullen to stop making the kickers run these gassers so they wouldn't be sore, and it helped our FG kicking since? Is Mullen the type of guy who would listen to an assistant coach, even though said assistant coach is very good at doing it himself?
I can't think of one to be honest. We were a pretty tight group. I think a lot of that can be credited towards Balis. Was there ever a time when we lost a game where there was visible tension amongst the players. I.e some players blaming others for the loss?

Lol I was more of a Counter Strike dude. Good times on Warcraft though.
Did he collect his $70 from the O'Bannon lawsuit?EA NCAA. Did you play it? Did you keep yourself as a punter?
EA NCAA. Did you play it? Did you keep yourself as a punter?
Yeah. This all reads like a textbook example of how NOT to coach kickers. He has no earthly idea what makes kickers good at their craft if he was playing those mind games with them and stressing their legs two days prior to a game.
I gotta say, on our way to Tuscaloosa seeing all of those people stopped on the side of the road to show support as we went by was pretty awesome. It still gives me chill bumps.Did the team #believe during the #webelieve season?
Never collected on it. I enjoyed the game too much to profit from it and watch it's demise.Did he collect his $70 from the O'Bannon lawsuit?
