Conference championships are becoming somewhat obsolete, almost like bowls. The money is the main driver. Expansion to 16 might be enough to make up for champ games elimination but I think 24 definitely would.

Less bowl games and more on campus playoff games too.
Yes, I would eliminate conference championships as well. They are a net negative most of the time.

He's always good with that stuff but I posted the numbers. I referred to the thread I posted them in a couple posts above.
Here is the exact post

Post in thread 'Zinn's post-mortem meeting with Schiano'

Schiano is the greatest coach Rutgers has ever had or ever will have. He got us into the Big 10 and then came back and kept us from getting kicked out of the Big10. He's the absolute best we will get with the money we have. Rutgers is in a unique position. We have little alumni support and absolutely no support from the citizens of the state. In addition, our state's flagship newspaper (now NJ.com) is trying to tear us down every chance they get, yet he still gets better recruits than any other coach in Rutgers history. We are now the best team in the Northeast outside of Ped State. We're better than BC and Syracuse. We've beaten old Big East rivals VT and Miami as well. We went to a bowl the last two years and won one of them. When I was in school, a bowl game was a pipe dream. Get behind him and give him all of our support. That's how we get better. Giving to the NIL on a monthly basis would help too. College doesn't work like the pros. f you don't understand college football, then stick with the Giants.

Guys, keep the CE Board bullshít off this board. Very Ironic since all of those involved don't have premium subscriptions so can't even post on the CE Board.
