Rutgers is a better job than ND.

ND is a better job than PSU.

Pikiell would have zero interest in leaving what’s he’s building, as well as the resources/facilities he now has.

Dumb thread.
Dumb response. None of what you posted has to do with the original OP and what job is better or worse . It’s about what candidate is better or worse slow guy

I think the version of Coach Pikiell that equates to the current version of Coach Shrewsbury is Coach Pikiell of whatever year it was that Rutgers first made the NCAA tournament. The accomplishment that has attracted attention to Coach Shrewsbury is raising Penn State from the dead to being a solid team, which is also Coach Pikiell's claim to fame. But that was several years ago, so he is not in the limelight for that anymore.

Just my opinion as an outsider...

For all of you special people here that can’t comprehend … plum is saying that pike is better job candidate than shrews based on body of work . Nothing was said about contracts or what job is better
Thanks for playing . Plum nails it ….again

This.

Good contrac and money, check.
Facilities, check.
TV exposure, check.
Playing in a better conference, top to bottom, check.
Yes! Add to your list…the capability to recruit extremely talented players that are good people.

Houston and everyone, if you haven’t seen the Hofstra post game press conference, with Paul and Caleb next to Pike, please watch it. Incredibly interesting and insightful.

What do you mean nobody cares about press conferences. Anybody that watched our press conference following Hofstra would understand that press conference mattered and that that briefing was a tremendous commercial for Rutgers and Steve Pikiell. It absolutely matters.

Agreed. Better situation and better potential here, plus, less pressure here - and he loves it here. The only place I worry about is UConn and Hurley isn't leaving there anytime soon.
Ummm for a school to hire a coach that coach would actually need to want to leave his current school.

So yea it has plenty to do with the OP.

As usual, Plum is dumb.
Ash will get us smashed

Doesn’t matter what your intent was the thread is a flop because to hire someone the other party also has to have interest. Yet the self absorbed, self proclaimed legend doesn’t see his flawed logic or the fact that the buyout is $15m which no school is going to pay in addition to a 7 year contract.

And we are tough on pike . But his body of work is much better.
He has a $15,000,000 buy out. Hes not hireable haha.

On top of his increase in pay from his current monster contract, theyd have to pay $15,000,000 on top of that. Pike has been given a lifetime contract by hobbs
