As far as dangerous teams once the playoffs start, I think any of the teams from CVAC, West Stokes, Walkertown from the mid-state, and Burns are dangerous. The teams in CVAC are all beating up on each other and West Stokes and Walkertown gave Reidsville a scare, which lets be honest, hasn’t happened in a while, and Burns is well coached with athletes. Not sure anyone in the West wants to see any of these teams roll in.

Yes, the CVAC is a competitive league, but take a look at what each team did outside the conference. To me, that is a tale-tale sign of how good a team is or can be down the stretch. Take a look at the top tiered teams and they either played NO one or beat NO one. For example, Maiden nor Bandys played no one outside of conference. Maiden posters will argue that Watauga is a worthy opponent because they are 4A and undefeated. Take a look at who they have played/beat and see if you are impressed with the schedule. Bunker and Lincolnton did venture out and play worthy opponents and probably the reason they are 1 & 2 in the conference; however, neither team won vs a top team. Based on the seedings above (thanks Grizz) I think this year the CVAC could be eliminated by the 2nd round. I hope I am wrong, and if so, I will admit I'm wrong, but I think the CVAC, in general, is a little down this year. Speaking out of both ends, I do think Lincolnton, if they get a solid seed, can make a run in the playoffs, but meeting Salisbury in 2nd round could spell some trouble. These are only my opinions and doesn't really hold any weight.
As always, the best of luck to all of the teams, especially the CVAC, and stay healthy.
