to run him off,I don't see how you would not expect the new coach to (at the very least) make the tourney within 2 years. This "5 to 6" years is laughable from someone that wants to get rid of him so bad (considering said persons reasons for wanting to fire Stansbury). I mean you're saying Stansbury has ALLL this talent, but then you want to fire him and say the next coach deserves 5-6 years to win big?! Really? If said coach is so good, then wouldn't that have the current players (as talented as they are in y'alls minds) winning big almost immediately? I just don't understand such a long leash. It's even funnier that someone bashed giving crooms this much time, but are willing to do it for the next bball coach. Let me follow that with the fact that I was ready to get rid of crooms after year 2...based upon the people that want to fire Stansbury and theirlevel of expectations for our program, it is unbelievalbe that they are willing to give a coach 5-6 years to outperform Stansbury. Look, I'm very much in favor of making the sweet 16, but it isn't the be all and end all of achievements. Let me ask this, say the new coach comes in and has a losing record with all of our current (and possible future) talent for 4 years. Then, in year 5, he gets his team to the sweet 16. Then, follwing thesweet 16, hasanother terrible few years year (finishing7th or so in the SEC, overall). Are you saying that you would accept that?
