I think the first thing I would do is address recruiting.

I would accomplish this by taking over the recruiting hostess program and completely overhauling it.

We would get ALL the top recruits.

1. Find a way to to turn a major portion of Burrleuch Park that runs along Easton Ave into a beautiful entrance into Rutgers (buildings, etc...).

2. Build the Roman colosseum of football practice facilities
Endow money so their is always a good coaching staff.

3. Build a LAX only facility (rich people like good lax schools)

4. Donate to Medical and Engineering programs. (I studied neither)

5. If RU ever changes from the 2006 uni's, my estate will sue for 1 Billion Dollars

I guess I would go buy a new coach that can recruit, develop a plan AND make game day adjustments.

I would buy out the subsidy for five years till Big10 money arrived so nj.com had nothing to ***** about. My one stipulation would be Barchi would have to retire early and I get to be in on the new pres. hire to ensure he is athletic friendly. Then from there on give enough to ensure RU can afford the best possible coaching staff.

So figure $100-200M..

Always said that I would fund a new Civil Engineering Building but the Weeks family did that...

kickstart the redevelopment of brower/records hall, endow some scholarships and maybe endow a department chair...

Large donations to the Marine Biology, History, and any program dedicated to helping improve the lives of the people of NJ.

Other than that I'd buy out Audi's Club sponsorship, kick everyone out, and have the whole place to me, my son, and maybe a couple posters I like. Better be nice to me. I bought lottery tickets today.

Peter Gibbons: What would you do if you had a million dollars?
Lawrence: I'll tell you what I'd do, man: two chicks at the same time, man.
Peter Gibbons: That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: Damn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I were a millionaire I could hook that up, too; 'cause chicks dig dudes with money.
Peter Gibbons: Well, not all chicks.
Lawrence: Well, the type of chicks that'd double up on a dude like me do.
Peter Gibbons: Good point.
Lawrence: Well, what about you now? What would you do?
Peter Gibbons: Besides two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: Well, yeah.
Peter Gibbons: Nothing.
Lawrence: Nothing, huh?
Peter Gibbons: I would relax... I would sit on my *** all day... I would do nothing.
Lawrence: Well, you don't need a million dollars to do nothing, man. Take a look at my cousin: he's broke, don't do ****.

Cmon people , spending money on academic buildings ? Fund the sports and get a winner . Screw the other aspects of the university :joy:

Plum street would invest heavily in sports infrastructure . Pay coaches even more to win and pay off players and recruits too .
Oh yeah and pay off the ncaa

I would put about $100mill into the school of engineering so that they can offer higher quality facilities and cutting edge education.

Another $100mill for olympic sport facilities and infrastructure (endowed scholarships, endowed coaching staff etc). $100 mill each for football, basketball and ice hockey sport facilities and infrastructure (endowed scholarships, endowed coaching staff etc). That was if I had $500 million to spend. That's what it will take to be on par with the middle of the big ten in all sports imo (half a billion dollars, we'll probably reach this in another 20yrs).

Buy all the homes on Sutphen Road and create a massive tailgate zone for all my friends and Rutgers grads on gamedays. And only RU grads or those with strong ties.

If we're talking Powerball-esque money, say $300 million, I'll keep it simple and would put $100 million to kick-start the master plan for the new quad stretching from the Barn to the river and the rest would go toward a basketball arena.

You would hire hookers?
"Hooker" is much too simple and crude a concept.

Just because Julie came from Louisville, doesn't mean we would hire the same type of hostess
they seem to do.
I believe Courtesan would be a far better description of RU4Real's hostesses

This is easy. Donate to elect a pro Rutgers Governor and state senators and then lobby them to allocate money for Rutgers sports, facilities, buildings and anything the school needs.

And who is that?

Great comments ITT. The point about rich people liking good LAX schools is a good one. We want to build WEALTH within our university. With wealth we answer to no one. Not the SL, not ESPN, not political hacks like Sweeney. But if I had enough dough I'd buy the SL/Advanced Media out, fire the scumbags who have spent their careers tearing us down and then crank out as many over the top "blue sky" articles about RU as possible.

Does Phil Knight have enough money to build the Death Star??

Not even close. The death star would cost about $8.1 quadrillion to build according to this link. http://www.shortlist.com/entertainment/films/the-cost-of-the-death-star

Not to mention that it'll take 833,315 years to acquire enough material to build it at current world production levels. Maybe it can be made quicker by hollowing out an asteroid. Also building it would change the earth's orbit patterns, could lead to further disasters.

And that's not even factoring in maintenance and repair costs.
