I can only hope that Mr.Greg Brown is as fed up with the current state of this program and opens the checkbook for GS.

I respect Flood the person but it's time.

Only Rutgers fans would complain about mediocrity and then turn around and call for the AD to hire a mediocre coach.

It's been reported he's pushing hard for the job.

From what I've heard it's Miami putting it out there to see the reaction from boosters/fans before engaging in discussion. We'll see what happens though.

I have no idea if Greg wants back, but he would be an upgrade.

He's a better recruiter, a bigger name, and I think he's learned from - and been humbled by - his time in TB.

Has there ever been a position coach that was hired as head coach other than Flood? He was suppose to be temporary till we hired a real coach.

Rutgers is such a disrespected brand who ever Rutgers hires needs to be bigger than the program. That's what Schiano became. Fact is Rutgers can't run the risk of hiring a no name guy hoping he becomes something special. Julie won't fire flood mid season which I'm ok with because we can save the a few bucks and put it towards the next guy.

For the 10,000th time if Schiano couldn't beat Syracuse after 11 seasons
how could possibly beat The big Big 10 Teams? Besides, most of his last recruiting class are under arrest. But after what I see today, I'm ready for
anyone but Greggie.

The program wasn't a complete and utter embarrassment, both on and off the field, under Schiano. Among other reasons, he'd have my vote.

my vote as well...
because I do not hear other great names beating down our door.... moreover, he brought the program back from obscurity, pushed for larger stadium, promoted marketing, and although did not coach in B1G, he sure as hell pushed to get in a better conference. So why not... ? because he did not beat WV in double overtime? or had losses on teams he should have beaten? Most coaches who were successful have had the ups and downs. And towards GS latter tenure, he was a big time coach for our program and we were only moving forward and/or holding our ground... not taking steps back.
