Knife Davis being out would be huge for us, as would Mitchell should Wilson have to leave the game. He's been iffy all season.

Gragg is much bigger than Davis

Davis had already been benched in favor of D Johnson, who is averaging 2 ypc more than Davis on the season. Gragg makes Arkansas MUCH more difficult to defend because he's one of, if not the, best pass catching tight ends in college football. If he can go it makes it much harder to deal with Cobi Hamilton.

Agreed. Gragg is difference maker. He looked like Jimmy Graham against UM when he was in the game.

Remember the 2000 Ark game in the sleet when half of Ark. team was injured, they had just fired their D/C because they got blown out by Tennessee the week before, and we needed to beat them and a sorry Ole Miss team to win the SEC West. Guess what happened? We lost both games. From that point on, I lost faith in Jackie Sherrill's coaching ability.

Davis has been mediocre since his injury.

Knile Davis 2010>Dennis Johnson on the best day in his life

Davis was a for sure 1st rounder before he broke his ankle. He had legit 4.30 speed and was a helluva lot bigger than Dennis Johnson.

Yeah, he was better then but IMO

Johnson is the better back at this point and he's a damn good kick returner, something we desperately need..........

Yep. My junior year. I was standing on the front row of the student section in that miserable weather. Heart breaking loss.
