You may be right. My point is in this game the defense has put the already bleak offense in an impossible situation. With Gavin at QB, it’s ludicrous to question the play calling on offense. Gavin misses more throws than he completes. Maryland is going to score 80 if we let his arm loose.

I agree..we should see Simon.

We should have seen Simon weeks ago.

But Greg won’t do it.

Back to the tailgate, rustling up the gang as I type this. Starting the grill and throwing on the beef.Shocked would be an understatement as I never saw this type of game today!

It's official, this team stopped giving a damn as soon as they hit 6 wins. No noticeable leadership! Not good for a veteran staff.
They stopped giving a damn before that tbh... Our 6th win vs MSU we really didn't win the game, MSU gifted us that game with back to back remarkable special teams blunders. Our fan's don't like to admit that fact but we didn't win that game at all, MSU lost it

I'm beginning to wonder if his play-calling is hampered by restrictions placed on him because if Schiano not trusting the passing game and when it has to be used the game is already out of hand

You can just flip a switch and say "okay - now pass the ball and get us back in the game".

This is why you spend time in UM, OSU, Iowa and especially PSU working on the passing game instead of throwing it 16 times.

All the good will from the first six games is completely gone and if you disagree, you probably have no goals in life.
got to admit a game like this makes the 6 wins and bowl game with it not as good as it felt going into this game.
All I can say if Schiano can't do better, Hobbs needs to pay enough to bring in someone better and $4 million a year to be a HC in the B1G won;t bring in the best and brightest .
I will bring in coaching talent like Greg, close but never considered a good one, just good enough for making minor bowls every year

There can't possibly be a scenario where we don't go for a transfer QB could there? If nothing else at least to put some pressure on Gavin and provide competition, "Iron sharpens Iron" type of deal. Good lord

100%. And maybe Wagner and Temple would have been good opportunities to work on passing. But here we are.
