This is right. As long as there are men that want to pay big dollars to a 17 year old to sign with their preferred school, the money is going to be there making decisions.It doesn’t matter what they do now. The big money is flowing and will do so under the table or a back alley if necessary.
That said, we need a more stable roster situation. 1 year commitments are bad for the sport. Pro leagues aren't built on that being common place and neither should college. Contracts need to be made where both parties have skin in the game and provide for better long term roster management. Buyout requirements, 2 year minimums, bring back 1 year sit out in a transfer, etc.
