A couple of years ago, he had strung together a couple of seasons where they started off good, but lost a lot the end of each year. I think most just wrote it off as "its South Carolina". I remember several of us arguing that he was or wasn'tas good of a coach that he used to be. Now, they are a legit top 15 team for the last 3 years and set up well for the future.
He's obviously changed his styles, recruiting strategies, and I think overall has done a tremendous job as a coach in building a program. In that regard, I say yes, what he's done at SC is comparable to his job at Florida.
