If I ever decide to take a shot at running a franchise, I think it's going to have to be a pizza place. It blows my mind as to how many pizza restaurants and gas stations an average town can support.
I'm not familiar with Soulshine. Decent place?
get me wrong, it's not bad. However, people act like it's the best place to get a hamburger, ever. That's just nowhere near the case, to me.
My two favorite spots in Starkville are Dave's and Strombolis. Old Venice isn't too shabby with their pie either. So there's three in that tiny town on top of all the cardboard pizza national chains. Now they're getting two more?
The Soulshine on Lakeland in Flowood is good. Not my favorite pie but it's good, they have a good beer selection, and a small stage for some music. They used to carry the Lazy Mag Jefferson Stout when it was on Old Fannin Rd. However, they have a Soulshine out on Highland Colony Parkway that I won't go to anymore. The service sucked and the food just wasn't as good, and that's assuming they brought out the right order.
Soulshine and Lost Pizza Co.(formerly knowns as Lost Dog) are coming to our fair town.
I've had five guys a couple of times. It's a good burger but I don't go out of my way to eat it.
Old Venice isn't near as good as it used to be $20 for a large pizza and I swear it was smaller than a medium at the national joints and on par w papa johns. Shrinkage has definitely hit their pizzas bc they used to be massive.

Is this a Hooters = Utters joke? Otherwise, I don't get it. There are Hooters located in many of the world's finest cities: Atlanta, Houston, Orlando, New York, Chippewah Falls, Aspen (never been though, the French are such ********). If you need further proof...Birmingham does not have a Hooters. And we've all been to Birmingham.
