I think Cohen needs to bring in some JUCO hitters this off sesaon, because while we have been hurt (Brownlee, Norris, and CT), none of those guys are going to really drive balls into gaps or out of the park.
Norris is developing, but I don't think he has a HR in his MSU career at this point. I could be wrong on that.

In the Saturday game Hunter Renfroe missed hitting a walk off HR by about 2 feet. That's how close we were to sweeping Vandy.

Look at Rea,Renfroe, Porter. Those are3 right there that can reach the fences of any yard. Slaughter hit 13 homers in Juco so he's capable. I think Norris has the frame and skill to eventually punch some balls out. The problem is combination of the fact that the rest of the lineup is totally powerless and the system in place. Look at how many sacrifices we expect out of the guys mentioned above and how many times the bat's been taken out of their hands. Not saying we could have expected a dinger every trip to the plate but you get the point here. I have no problem with what we do in principal but wish Cohen would wait a little longer than the 1st and 2nd innings to start playing the bunt game with our fewpower guys at the plate. </p>
