Coach takes a lot of abuse for his predictions, and I don't. We are both absolutely horrible at predictions, but he constanty gets called on it. Maybe that's because I have never said I know what I am talking about with regard to athletic prognostications.

Coach only recently began admitting that his recent predictions suck...even then, he tries to flip-flop his position. You know, the old "I knew they were going to lose, even though I picked them to win" kinda crap.
Someone said the other day that Coach34 is really Richard Williams and I am starting to believe it. Who else would say:
1. Kirby was more responsible for the Final 4 team than Rick
2. Kirby is the reason for our current recruiting success
3. Brady is a good coach
4. It is OK for college coaches to bang co-eds

you actually like some of our coaches and like our teams. to be a fan and dislike all of our coaches, all of our schemes, etc. just seems a bit absurd.
also sucking at predictions is one thing but skewing those predictions because you think you could do better is another thing altogether.

Actually, after the Robert Kirby stuff, I think Coach must have interviewed for a position under Stans at some point and Stans laughed him out of the room, outstanding credentials and all. This is more than likely what led to Coach's downfall. Even though he was pulling down championships in multiple sports every year, the condom peddling business was calling. He had to think at some point that he was getting a job on State's staff, there isn't any other explanation for his hatred of Stansbury.
Peaches is just some random guy who failed at coaching, ended up selling condoms, and now thinks he is superiorly qualified to make predictions and judge coaching talent on a message board despite having a pretty bad track record. He isn't John Brady, he isn't Richard Williams, he is a nobody that decided he was smarter and more knowledgable than everybody else on this board and thus can never honestly admit he is wrong about anything. That leads to constant backtracking and ridiculous theories such as the "Robert Kirby was the key to the Final Four", "Carrill is mostly known for making a Sweet 16, check that, a second round appearance", and "we are playing like a 4 seed" theories.
It's about the inexplicable glee he seems to take in our downfalls, his undying hatred for the coach that has brought us the most success in recent years, and his inability to admit he is wrong.
Now if you want to start behaving in that manner, we'll be more than glad to treat you with the same level of disdain.

Coach is just a guy that enjoyed coaching, found a more lucrative career, and now enjoys messing with you morons on a daily basis. Watching the way Coach can work you guys into a frenzy and have you looking up **** all over the internet is quite hilarious to Coach.
