I figured you would like it, views have to be up based on allegations of cheating for basically every in state player on behalf of Ole Mi$$.
If you wanted to not let the board end up going the way of the Finebaum show you could, but you won't because arguing about how Ole Mi$$ has basically given Channing Ward's brother an honorary doctorate, and degrees to everyone in his extended family in order to have him go against every natural instinct he has to sign with the school he really wants to which is MSU.

for Liggins, Brown and Jefferson. That is enough drama to keep this board in deep recruiting mode. Those three players determine who has the most DD. You can act like you don't care about that, but you know you do.
It just sucks that the longest threads on this board usually involved the words recruiting or cheating.
It just seems that posters that used to play the cheating card were called out on this board as lunatic fringe posters, now it seems those posters are the majority.

over 50% of the posts in ANY recruiting thread being from OM fans. Its obvious they care much more about recruiting than any other real season (including the actual football games) because we don't have this many OM posters talking football during Egg Bowl week. Just another reason I DO believe that OM cheats at recruiting at a much higher level than MSU BECAUSE they care about it so much. There is no braggin' Bear like one over here crowing about recruiting or what they think they know about recruiting.

I haven't seen a ton of these post that DS describes where rebel fans are proclaiming recruiting victories. Personally, I conceded a long time ago that MSU would have the better class this season as far as rankings are concerned.
I can only speak for myself, but I think Omlawdog would agree, it isn't that we skipped football season only to come out during recruiting season due to some percieved recruiting victory. We posted less during the season for two reasons. One, because we sucked *** in football, which tends to leave less for discussion unless you are an excuse maker. Two, because you can't even make a reasonable reply here without the typical $, tsun bear, buying players, conspiracy theories, etc. These type of posts have become the norm. The board used to police itself, but the very posters that DS complains about are the ones who now dominate the board. Evidently us TSUN bears shouldn't discuss recruiting when we have a poor season. When MSU was sucking hind tit, a large portion of MSU fans here didn't want to discuss it because recruiting chatter wasn't subjective enough to matter. Now that MSU is doing well, those same posters feel it is suddenly important and can't understand how the tsun bears can possible sign a prospect without buying them. It never occurs to them that MSU signed similar classes (as our class this year) when they were down.
There was a change in the board dynamics a while ago. I can only assume it was for monetary purposes. I can't blame anyone for that, but to suggest that the board has become insufferable due to recruiting talk is kind of short sighted. Especially when you consider that football recruiting is a pretty big deal in SEC country. And I totally understand that it's DS's board for MSU fans, so it's not up to me to determine its course. However I will point out the silliness of acting like this problem is a result of recruiting season.
I mean isn't there an Ole Miss board you can hang out on and not have as many people arguing with you?
Just the other day we had one of the ole miss regulars on here telling us Quay was being taken care of. But we never hear that kind of talk from Ole Miss fans huh? You also remember the recruitment of Robert Elliot don't you?

I see Ole Miss people on MSU boards saying "every thread is about Ole Miss", etc.., but I never see State fans saying that because I never go to Ole Miss's 17ing board.
